The handburger OK Jul 26, 2010
Categories : American | Restaurant | Burgers and Sandwiches

This is the second time i visit this restaurant for this month. I like their burger very much. We ordered the chicken caesar burger, corny chicken soup and the beer dory burger.
Burger is no longer a fast food. It can be a great dining experience. No more using the hand to eat the burger. Just like having the western food, the handburger using the fork and knife. The meat is bigger than the bread and tender. The bread is soft with the sauces applied on it which i found i can eat the bread alone without the meat for my dinner.
The staff trying to serve all we want but it's really difficult to cater all our needs as the restaurant is very crowded and it's quite short handed.

Delicious Kway Chap Smile Dec 31, 2010
Categories : Coffeeshop

This stall is located along the same stretch with the famous teochew porridge stall (Night owls should know). I ordered a one-person set that includes a plate of pig organs, fishcake and tau pok and a bowl of kway. I love the bowl of kway as the stall owner used chinese herbs to prepare it. At times, I would go for a second bowl as the soup is very tasty! The pig intestine and skin was fresh and thoroughly cleaned. Both were very chewy and delicious. Given the price of $3.50, it is definitely worth the value chopstick

Desert on a hot sunny day Smile Dec 31, 2010

Categories : Hawker Centre | Desserts and Cakes

I went there during lunchtime and you can see people queuing up for desert at this stall. After waiting for about 10 mins, I ordered ice cheng ting for takeaway. The stallowner is generous as you can find chunks of jelly, long gan and gingko nut in it. The desert tastes yummy (not too sweet and not too bland) lol and it serves as a "fire extinguisher" to cool down my body on a hot sunny day!

Soya bean milk tart Smile Dec 30, 2010   (Related Review)

Categories : Hawker Centre | Brunch

If you are a egg tart lover, then you must go and try the soya bean milk tart.
They are having two different flavors which is chocolate and original. I would recommend the original tart.
The filling is very smooth and you will taste the soya bean milk.
It's handmade daily but heard from the lady boss it's only available at noon and not in the morning.
The tart is selling at 90 cents for original and 1 dollars for chocolate.

Crowded Kway Chap Stall Smile Dec 23, 2010
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Hawker Centre

It was a raining morning so i decided to have something soupy. I came across this stall and it was crowded with people queuing for it. I decided to "include" myself in the queue and food came after 30 mins. The "kway" with the soup was delicious and it kept me warm for the raining weather. I also ordered pig skin, small intestine and fish cake. The small intestine was my favourite! It is very tender and chewy and the stall owner did put in effort to clean the intestine thoroughly chopstick
