If you look for a variety of seafood from a buffet, that is probably the right choice for you.

Most of the hotel buffets do not serve so many kinds of seafood for buffet lunch. Let alone sashimi and cooked prawns, you can also find oysters (cooked or raw), crayfish, abalone and crabs. In the tappanyaki section, I can also find my favourite pregnant fish.

The cooked food are nice but not especially impressive. So, I spent most of my quota on seafood and teppanyaki. Dessert is the weakest link and you can give it a miss.

We have been to this Old Town Outlet in City Square of JB a few times, due to its convenient location. The food and drinks are generally alright.

Since we did not have much time this time, we only ordered some 2 rice: Nasi Lemak Special & Rendang Chicken Rice. Some might think it a little bit expensive, but I consider it okay, taken into consideration its comfortable air-conditioned environment and cleanliness. The portion is a bit small for guys, but sufficient for ladies.

We have walked past this Secret Recipe Restaurant almost every Sunday. We always wonder why the place is always empty. Out of curiosity, we tried it out last Sunday. Strangely, once we were outside the place staring at the menu, a few groups have entered the restaurant. Good, we are not alone.

We ordered Grilled Chicken Baked Rice, Burrito Grande, Green Apple Kasturi and an ice-cream. The Baked Rice ordered by my hubby is tasty with lots of cheese and smell so incredibly good. I wish I had ordered that one.

On the other hand, the Burrito Grande I ordered is so-so. It is just meixcan rice and shredded chicken wraped in tortellas topped with some salsa tomato sause. The potion of shredded chicken is hearty but rather dry and hard. The Green Apple drink is super sour. The ice-cream had some smarty topping and it's also much ordinary.

Actually, I didn't even know what would come up before I ordered the Burrito Grande. My hubbie blamed me for ordering something strange. I totally disagreed, as I love to try out new favours and new food. If that's good, it would really make my day. Clearly, for this lunch, it hasn't quite hit the point.

PS, my hubbie has been ordering wonton noodle at his office canteen everyday for most of his working days. No surprise for his lack of understanding.
