This is a cake shop that allows customer to decorate their birthday cakes with icing, decorations etc.

I decided to bring my son to customise and decorate a birthday cake for my sister. We chose the smallest (4 inch) $11.80. There are bigger size (6 inch $20.80) or (8 inches $28.80). There are two flavours to choose from - Vanilla or black forest.

We chose the vanilla flavour. After which, the staff put the cake onto the stand and passed us the icing decor & colourful piping bags for us to proceed with our decorations.

It is really fun to draw on the cake since this is our very first time decorating the cake. We enjoyed the process very much.

Once you have completed with the deco, the staff will keep the cake for you into a box. You can bring the cake back.

We tried the cake at home, it is quite soft and tasty. Best of all, its our very own cake. My sister was very happy to receive the cake from us. A great idea for birthday cakes other than those ready made cakes.

Went to the Soup restaurant at Changi Airport Terminal 2 for a family dinner.

Best to make a reservation before hand, which I did. Else be prepared to join in the queue for dining.

One of my favourite dish in this restaurant is their Samsui Ginger chicken. It is steamed and it comes with lots of ginger as a sauce. You can pour the sauce into the chicken. It tastes great and makes the chicken smells very fragrant.

Do try out their fried fish strips. It comes with mayonnaise and its fried till very crispy.

I like their sweet & sour pork as well. The meat are quite lean and the seasoning is just right.

A great place for family dinner.

Was shopping at Tampines mall with my family. After shopping for some time, we decided to pop by Pizza hut for dinner. It was quite crowded at that time, we waited for a while before its our turn. Decided to order some spaghetti rather than the usual order pizzas. I ordered their Grilled chicken parchment. It comes with turkey bacon, chicken & button mushrooms top with creamy white carbonara sauce. The pasta is cooked just right. Not too hard or soft. I like their chicken as its all lean chicken strips. good for those healthy conscious. I ordered their fruitti salad as well. It consists of green apples, mangoes, raisins, some pineapple bits and nice juicy strawberries. There are some mayonnaise sauce too. The fruits are nice as they are of different tastes- sweet, sour etc. Great appetizers before the main course.

They do have promotions for some credit cards from time to time. ; )

These are deep-fried mashed potatoes croquettes. They are very soft and there are 5 different types of filling. Ranging from beef, cheese, corns, crabs or chicken. You can choose different fillings as they are served in a cup. They also have 5 different types of sauces to choose from - namely Japanese BBQ, Japanese curry, Cheese sauce, Honey mustard, Mentai mayo. My fav is the Japanese BBQ and their cheese sauce. The texture of the crust is crispy due to the bread crumbs and the interior is very soft and smooth (mashed potatoes). It is very nice to eat with the sauces. A great creation and one of my favourite snacks when I goes to City Square mall.

The food is prepared only when you ordered them. So it is served hot. But do be careful when eating it, as it can be very hot internally.

I went in to the website for Polar puff to look for their range of cakes and found that they do have a wide range of cakes to cater for different groups of people. They have disney, hello kitty, thomas & friends etc range for small kids, customized for the wedding / special occasions and also petite cakes (for small eaters).

I am very attracted to their cakes. I decided to choose from the Chocolate truffle from their Chocoholic indulgence range. it comes in two different sizes. Regular costs $20.80 and large costs $38.60. The regular size is more than enough for a family size of 7 pax. The cake is very soft with chocolate cream and my favourite chocolate truffle balls. it is sinfully chocolate cake. my family like the cake as it is not too sweet.

Do try out their Mango Mixed Fruit cake too. It is covered with fresh mango and the mangoes are very sweet. Worthwhile.

I love their pastry too. Chicken pies are one of my all time favourites. The tuna puff is very crispy and filled with delicious tunas.
