Sashimi and oysters are given via request. There's no sign out front to indicate what's available. You pretty much have to look at what the person is ordering in front or ask the chef on hand. The slices were decent, but I wouldn't say fantastic

The concept here is different from a lot of buffets I've been to. Usually individual stations consists of roasted meats, but there were quite a few individual stations where you had to line up, order, and wait. If it's not convenient for you to walk and stand around, you'd be missing out on some of the food.The pepper crayfish may look very salty in the picture but I'd say it's decently flavorful. The black pepper wasn't too overpowering, however, if you're wearing light colored clothes, you might be concerned that the sauce may flip up and stain your clothes.

The roast beef was very nice and the chef was very dangerous. Those whom like their steak really well done might have to skip the stationThe drunken prawns must be quite popular because by the time I got there, there were only a few prawns left swimming in the pool. I guess it's nice to know that your prawns were alive before they were cooked, but you might want to turn away if you don't want to see the shrimp struggling. The soup it was served in had a herbal smell and everyone around me wanted a sip of it.They had several choices of naan here. Between the garlic and the cheese naan, I'd say the cheese naan was pretty nicely done. They also have an assortment of dips you can choose--not a disappointing Naan & Curry station. Also, they had papadum!The highlight of the dessert platter was macaroons. Quite nicely done. Not too sweet, and the flavors were there.I'm not a fan of coconut ice cream, but the coconut and yuzu received the top votes in my party of 10.

From the name I thought the restaurant was French food, but upon scanning the varieties on the menu, it was clear that there was some Japanese flavor to it.

Was there on a weekday during lunch so there were lunch sets available. I believe the specials change everyday. Lunch hour was rather busy and the servers were rather flustered.

The garlic that came with the escargot was rather crisp. I think I prefer escargots served and baked in the oven with butter as opposed to how it was prepared here.The cheese didn't quite melt in the French Onion soup and I thought that it might have come in the puff pastry. It was rather salty, so the bread was pretty much all gone before I realized that I was on my last bite. It's a pity as i believe the bread would have been a good complement to hte squid ink pastaThe tomato soup was slightly disappointing. It felt like it came in a can. I guess I appreciate it when it feels like a lot of effort is put into the dish that you're consuming. At least it wasn't Cream of Tomato (powder)

I think I was more let down by the main coursesIf I don't recall correctly, the Hamburger Steak was one of their specialty/highlights. The meat was composed of minced beef and I guess I was let down by the quality of the meat and presentation of the dish.The Japanese hardly gets the squid ink wrong as they even sell squid ink pasta in their supermarkets. Mushrooms were a nice addition to the dish, but I felt like there was very little squid pieces.

The fruit tarts look amazing and I saw a lot of people ordering it.
If I go back, I believe that would be on my to order list and I'd probably go there for tea.

Hidden around the corner of Perak Road near Little India, is this Diner cafe that I thought I'd never find in Singapore. The deco may be similar to Billy Bomber's, but the feel of the place is quite different. The deco and music made it more authentic. Probably the closest feel that I've got that's similar to Diner's in the US or what we see in the movies. Friend ordered the Asahi beer. The waitress asked if we wanted Chili sauce in addition to the Buffalo wings, but they were made on the spot so they were fresh and hot. They also didn't skimp on the Tabasco sauce so the Chili sauce was unnecessary. They were missing a blue cheese dip but I'd say that it's a pretty mean and savory Buffalo wing dish. Strawberry Spiked Milkshake was very good. The alcohol was there without being it too strong. The Ice cream was not too sweet where you'd get sick of it (unlike McDonalds Milkshake), or perhaps the Kahlua was a good balance to the Strawberry.

What I'd come back for would be their spiked milkshakes and Buffalo Wings. Please come support this diner as I believe it serves great good, doesn't rush the customers and you can just chill with your friends. There weren't any live bands playing when we were there but it looks like certain nights they may have live performances.

Though the restaurant doesn't really advertise that the cuisine is Taiwanese so much, it's rather authentic. We decided that it'd be more value to order from the menu.This dish was a slight disappointment as it didn't have the flavor that I was looking for.The fried chicken pieces were hot when they came out and had fried basil leaves too. However, the pepper/salt combination that usually accompanies it wasn't so apparent.

The highlight of the meal really was the Stewed Pork over Rice and the Beef Noodles.
The Stewed Pork over rice had pretty much the texture and taste that you'd normally eat at the local food stalls in Taiwan--of course, at a more hefty price.The Beef Noodles' soup was pretty much on the dot as well, however, the noodle could have been more al dente and more similar to the traditional beef noodles. It is, however, rather difficult to get the correct taste for the beef soup so I think it's a good job already. Beef pieces could have been a bit more tender and chewy though as they were rather hard and not as juicy.Friend ordered the jasmine milk tea and I had the guava float which was pretty good. Could have opted for no Konnyaku jelly though as it reminded me of the tadpoles that Singapore desserts sometime have.

Cedele feels like Cafe food with an emphasis on Organic food and the gourmet style to me.There's bread at the counter on the side which you can dip in Olive Oil and Vinaigrette.Their salad with the garlic shrimps was very flavorful. Didn't think I'd be able to find Salad in Asia that would taste so good. The Salad dressing was very fruity and felt very light. The salad greens felt fresh and crispy.The sandwich was great in terms of taste and portion as well. Can't believe it took so long to decide what to order, but really glad that the entrees tasted so great.Their carrot cake was moist, but not overly so. And the cream was just right in terms of sweetness, however could have been more sticky to the cake. Overall, a very yummy carrot cake.
