Really its a must try and must have Yusheng this CNY!!! I fell in love with their yusheng even though i am not a 'yusheng' person. Normally, i will just eat only about a spoonful after the 'lao yusheng' session because i am really quite picky towards the sauce and the freshess of the yusheng.

Well, this CNY, my family bought yusheng from Sushi Tei on the 7th day of CNY for our lao yusheng session. Its my 1st 'lao yusheng' for this CNY and is really the best so far. Its really very appetising. I ate almost a quater of the whole plate! Their sauce is really special and unique, a little sweet and a liitle sour, and have a very refreshing unique taste! And their salmon yusheng is very fresh also. I really like their yusheng very much!

Hey all, CNY still not over yet, those who still havent 'lao yusheng' for this CNY, really must try this yusheng from sushi tei! I am sure that it may be one of the best yusheng u ever tried!

Itacho has been my favorite Japanese restaurant ever since i have tried once at Hong Kong and once at Ion Orchard.

Was here again meeting my friends for lunch. Again has ordered their premium set to share among my friends as they having promotion for their set meal.

The sashimi and sushi were all really fresh. I loved the sushi that was wrapped with mango slices and avocado slices. It tasted really refreshing and fresh! We have ordered their freshly grinded wasabi which tasted really nice and different from the wasabi i had before. It went really well with the sashimi! Oiishi!

I have never tried Itacho before until I was at Hong Kong recently and has tried Itacho Hong Kong for the first time and really love their Sushi. It was so fresh and reasonably priced! And while I was there, i realised that they have a few branches in Singapore which i felt really happy about it, telling myself must try it when im back in Singapore.

Was at Ion recently meeting a friend for lunch. While looking thru the mall directory, was happy there is a Itacho here, so has suggested to my friend to have our lunch there. The queue was rather long during lunch hour, but luckily we didnt have to wait that long. Was feeling extremely hungry and spoilt for choices, we decided to go for their premium set for 2, as we were lrather ost of what to order. Haha.

Wow, the sushi were all nice. But not as nice and fresh as those i had at Itacho Hong Kong, but its still considered much better than any other Japanese restaurants that I had tried in Singapore.

My friend who is working in Hongkong came back Singapore for CNY celebration recently. So we thought of meeting up with a few of our friends for a small reunion. At first, my friend wanted to have our gathering dinner at somewhere in Orchard, but he changed to meet up at Marina Bay Sand instead since all of us has yet to go there since their opening, so it will be a good experience for all of us to 'reunion' there.

One of our friend suggested having our dinner at Ku De Ta, as he heard about this restaurant from some other friends. So we headed to this open space restaurant located on 57th floor. Wow, the moment we arrived there, the first thing is their spectacular bay view and the second thing is that the place is very windy and cold! Better to bring along a jacket with you when you are there.

Anyway, after browsing through the menu, we decided to have a teriyakki chicken, grilled salted prawn, tofu. fried udon and fried rice wrapped in lotus leave. All are delicious especially the terriyaki chicken, its really different from what I tried in any other restaurants which is usually very saucy and wet. But theirs is more on 'drier' version, not that saucy and wet, and the chicken is more tender, juicy and tastier, i really like their terriyaki chicken. By the way, the fried udon is a bit dissapointing, cos it dont taste like udon but taste like fried mee instead.

Overall, their food is deliciious, but their portion is quite small, and you may need to order more dishes. And try to eat faster cos the food turn cold really fast bcos its very windy there.

Fresh and sweet sugarcane juice!! Smile Apr 09, 2011

Categories : Hawker Centre | Juices

Was at Tanjong pagar for some work today.

After work, my colleague and i went to the nearby amoy street food centre for a drink. So we decided to have a refreshing drink - that is sugarcane juice!

The sugarcane juice is freshly squeezed and is sweet (100 percent natural sweetness, no articial sweetening is added at all) The sugacane juice from this stall is really very nice. The sweetness is just right and so refreshing. And most importanly, it is really cheap, it costs only $1 per cup!
