Yogurt Place OK Apr 24, 2012

We bought vouchers from groupon and we actually get a Yogurt Parfait with froyo from The Yogurt Place at $3 instead of $6++. There were three flavors for you to choose from which are mango, chocolate and strawberries. We chose the mango and chocolate flavors. The frozen yogurt on top of the parfait was quite nice, and the texture is in between creamy ice cream and ice stick . As a mango lover, i personally like the mango flavor very much because you will get to eat the mango jelly at the base of the yogurt. The chocolate flavor one is way too sweet for me as I felt sick after eating like two spoons.

Haagen-dazs Smile Apr 24, 2012

Went to Haagen-dazs at Bishan Junction 8 with two of my friends to try this chocolate fondue.

The chocolate fondue set was $49.90 which was suitable for three person to share. 14 scoops of ice cream are given and the flavors consist of strawberry, coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Besides that, there were cookies, brownies, strawberries, banana and peach. I enjoyed the chocolate cookies and cake cubes the most. Imagine the chocolate cookies dipped in melted chocolate, so chocolatey it’s just so wonderful! Since Haagen Dazs was generous enough to provide the amount of melted chocolate given, we didn’t hold back with the dipping. A small light is placed under the ceramic pot to keep the chocolate stay melted.
The chocolate fondue is really good and worth to have a try!

Spending per head: Approximately $49.90(Tea)

Bought this cake for my friend's 20th birthday. It is called "Fruity Paradise". As you can see from the name of the cake, the cake was really full of fruits like stawberries, mangoes, kiwis on top of the cake. Besides that, the cake was surrounded by pieces of white chocolate and they actually tied a small little ribbon on the chocolate which made the cake looked really thoughtful and pretty. This pretty-looking cake taste relatively sweet to me but overall it is still okay because you will get to eat different fruits with the cake. Those cake at there were all very dreamy and princess which are very suitable for girls. Besides that, they sell the cake at reasonable price.

Spending per head: Approximately $40

Starbucks Smile Apr 23, 2012

The Starbucks' Ney York Cheesecake is always my favorite because it is more tasty than the traditional one. There are a total of three toppings for you to choose from, which are seasonal berries, chocolate sauce and rich caramel. I always love the original one. The smell of the cheese is really very strong. The cake is soft and cream and you can feel the cheese inside your mouth. It is really really delicious and it is always the best combination with a cup of coffee. Try it and you'll know!! lollol

Just Acia OK Apr 23, 2012
Categories : Singaporean | Restaurant | Chinese Soup

Just Acia is always famous with their free flow of ice-cream and drinks. Went to have my lunch last friday and i ordered this:

Sambal Salmon Fillet on Rice set ($8.90): Was attracted by the description beside the title of the food name because it was quoted "super spicy". As a spicy food lover, I tried this dish. It was really spicy but for me it is still consider ok. The taste of the sambal is great. Just that the salmon fillet was a bit overcooked which caused the salmon fillet to be a little bit dry. But they are warm enough to provide miso soup for the set, so it is still consider great.

Spending per head: Approximately $8.90(Lunch)
