utterly disgusted and disappointed with the lunc buffet. based on the the voucher sashimi  is  served  during dinner i would expect items to be served as indicated. however the items are less than 40% of what is presented. the items are pathetic, the quantity is pathetic the ifood are not fresh.  when asked the staff say that they follow what their supervisor told  to cook daily. this buffet deal is a fraud

This is the only theme coffee cafe in Bedok!Smart move judging by the crowd it draws. lol Had been there to avoid the Valentine's day crowd. It was a raining late afternoon and the ambience was just okay. Filled with students studying . The starbucks staff were warm and welcoming. Ordered a Venti Cafe Latte with a blue berry muffin. The muffin was kinda clammy and wasn't heated long enough. Had to ask for a reheating . Clearing of tables was rather slow and bits of food can be found on the floor. The Cafe latte was average and standard as in other Starbucks cafe. Nice cafe to spend the time away watching the rain and crowd go by!

Lunch buffet..disappointing Cry Feb 19, 2013

went to Ramen Ten for a buffet lunch deal . Was kinda disappointed by the selection of food available for sushi.
Had a bowl of spicy miso ramen but found it rather disppointing due to the texture of the noodle. The restaurant was relatively average filled but service was rather poor as we had to wait more than 5 minutes to get a change of cup .
The salmon sashimi portion was average for the pricing . We ordered some sushi not on the belt and it took quite a bit of time to arrive which by then we were quite filled up by eating those existing same simple rolled sushi.

I had went to YumCha restaurant with my parents for a lunch buffet. Chanced upon a bridal couple having their mini celebration there. Was kinda delayed in getting the food as the crowd kept intercepting the cart lady.
Had to wait a bit for the steamed dimsum but was really satisfied with the quality. Highly recommended the steamed pheonix dumplings, siew mai , custard paus and also the soft and smooth chee cheong fun. Service by the staff was slightly above average. The ambience was quite okay with a bit of difficulties in getting around as the tables were rather crowded so as to maximise sitting i guess. Great for big eaters and dim sum lovers!chopstick

Came across this little cute shop while attending a short course next door. Very nice ambience for small group gathering. I ordered a plate of thai phad tai and found it to be really good! Turns out the young owner was the son of another restuarant nearby. The coffee was freshly brewed and cube brown sugar served with a small cutesy biscuit.
The coffee and tea were served in really unique porcelain cups! Most importantly is that the prices are quite reasonable with set meals about $12++. Great to chat your time and relax away!
