Before catching a movie with my friend, we decided to eat something and i thought of Fig&Olives since we NEVER tried there before and it always caught my eyes when i walk past going to the toilet nearby. It was empty. Price was reasonable. Friendly customer service. Unfortunately, the food was horrible. I was disappointed. The Marinara sauce was too soupy, too soagy. It was tasteless as well. As for the fish and chip, it wasnt worth the price really. It only came with one Fish Fillet. I wouldn't consider eating at Fig & Olive again.

Its been awhile since i had a good cupcake. Been craving for it since forever, and i've been too busy with work to bake one myself. I walked past High Society everyday since i work around the area and the cupcakes displayed have always attracted my attention, got me drooling. The ambiance was cozy and it shouts classy all over. So i finally tried bought a cupcake, so $6. Abit too pricey. It was up to my standards, but i've definitely tasted better at a cheaper price.

I always walk pass Sofries ever since they open. Was curious and wanted to compare with "Best Fries Forever". Before trying i went to check their FB and they had alot of good reviews about their fries and i decided to give it a try. I had the Sweet Potato fries with cheese dip, for 5.70 or so. It was EXPENSIVE........ But It wasnt that bad. The price is way too much. Wouldnt be buying there anymore.

My sweet colleagues surprised me with the Banoffe pie they got from Delicious opposite our work building. I love banoffe pie. It was sooo good and delicious. The pie is not too sweet. In the pie there are chunks of sweet and fresh bananas, caramel base and topped with whipped cream. One of the best pies I ever had.

For mains, I had the Spicy Crab Meat Linguine. It was so-so to me as I was expecting it to be 'WOW'. But to me, it is just a normal plate of pasta with spicy sauce and a little bit of crab meat here and there and thats about it. Nothing special or memorable about this dish.

I was at the Airport recently, sending off a relative. After all the wheeping and crying sending our love ones off, everyone got hungry!

In case people don't know, Laddu is an Indian rice ball which is sweet and it is a popular confectionery in India. The Laddu I got from this restaurant is perfectly round, large but it is a bit too sweet to my liking. I have tried better Laddu in Tekka market, which is just the way I like it. Laddu is a good snack for a quick bite at any time of the day.
