SATAY Smile Oct 24, 2012

Was a impromptu outing with my friend to go cycling by the beach. And we cycle for a good hour and a half and got hungry, of course. So wheres else could we have good food at east coast? Didnt take us long to find a spot to sit at. So we bought some satay, gong gong and Ikan Pari! We stuff ourself and damn, it was satisfying. A really good weekend spent.

This was our overall picture. We had Sugar cane for our drinks!

GONG GONG!

Ikan pari! It was super spicy but sweet. Still good!

And of course, you have the satay !

DOUBLE THUMBS UP!

Lunch Smile Oct 18, 2012

When to have lunch here, since its one of the good and affordable places to eat in town. I would at least eat here twice a week or so. Its always pack with working people nevertheless our waiting time would only be 5 mins or so. Service is fantastic, friendly worker, fast service. I had the honeydew chicken rice! Of course it doesn't taste like honeydew. The chicken is glazed with honey and it tasted good! Would highly recommend!

Marinara  Cry Oct 09, 2012

Before catching a movie with my friend, we decided to eat something and i thought of Fig&Olives since we NEVER tried there before and it always caught my eyes when i walk past going to the toilet nearby. It was empty. Price was reasonable. Friendly customer service. Unfortunately, the food was horrible. I was disappointed. The Marinara sauce was too soupy, too soagy. It was tasteless as well. As for the fish and chip, it wasnt worth the price really. It only came with one Fish Fillet.

I wouldn't consider eating at Fig & Olive again. sad

We were at the airport, sending my brother off to Australia for his National Service and my aunt made a reservation for 13 at Pappamia. I havent heard of this place before. So i look through the menu and it was mostly local food. I was very hungry so I order something heavy. I forget whats the name of the dish but it was gooood. It was something like Chicken Cutlet. The chicken was crispy. It was delicious. Superb really. The curry that came along, wasnt like any typical indian curry but creamy instead. Wasnt that bad. It was overall really good. Satisfied with the food!

Service wasnt that fantastic, the waitress didnt have a friendly look.

Thosai Masala Smile Sep 25, 2012

I went here with my family before going grocery shopping with the family. The service could be better, we waited and no one served us. The location was beautiful, the ambiance was define. Roof top dining. I would consider having a birthday party or any event there. There were small water ground for the kids to run around and have fun while the parents are talking. I ordered Thosai Masala and one is NOT enough. I WAS INLOVE. The curries the serve at the side was hot and spicy. I had masala tea to go along with it. It was alright. Just the proper amount of spices. Alittle bit too sweet though.

Price was affordable! Thosai was less than 4 dollars. Would definitely recommend.
