Vegetarian mixed rice!  OK Jul 30, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Food Court | Stall / Kiosk | Kids-Friendly

One of the more popular stalls at this kopitiam outlet, this vegetarian stall sells a variety of dishes ranging from noodles to rice. THis plate of brown rice with vegetable dishes is not too expensive and is serve hot. The brown rice is well cooked and not too hard to chew on with a fragrant taste of brown rice. As for the vegetables, they were not over cooked not too soft and is not too oily and salty. The toufu slice was slightly chewy and a little cold but still worth a try especially if you are looking for a healthy meal outside

Yummy Japanese Ramen!! Smile Jul 30, 2012

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Ramen

Selling a wide range of Japanese Ramen, this Japanese restaurant offers refill of ramen for its customers as long as you still have soup base in your bowl! The ramen is really springy and chewy, the soup base is slightly salty with a good miso taste and the ingredients of the soup base is quite a lot ranging from pork slices to sweet corn, vegetables half boiled juicy egg! I liked the egg the most as it melts in your mouth and you don't even need to bite too much as it is soft. As for the pork slices, they were well cooked and taste well with the ramen and soup base! Overall a good bowl of japanese ramen recommended for all to try! lol

Pig Trotters Vinegar! Smile Jul 30, 2012
Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Coffeeshop | Chinese Soup

This eating house is famous for its clay pot pig trotters, pig intestine soup, crab and more and is usually packed even on weekdays. For $10 a pot, this pig trotters is rich in flavour and has a strong smell and taste of fresh vinegar. The pig trotters are boiled till soft and melts in your mouth. The vinegar sauce is not too salty and goes very well with rice. Each pot of pig trotters is served with two hard boil eggs as well and quite a good deal and worth a try! The serving is big and can be ordered as a side dish along with others if you go out for a meal with your friends and family

Yummy Bimbipap  Smile Jul 30, 2012

Categories : Korean | Steamboat/Hot Pot

Though it is slightly more expensive, this plate of clay stove bimbipap is yummy and served hot! The ingredients served are fresh and quite a big amount! Warm rice is served with a runny egg yolk, chicken slices, fresh kimchi, bean sprouts and vegetables. I liked how this plate has a lot of vegetables that comes in two types. The vegetables are fresh and well cooked. The chicken slices are not spicy and suits all while the kimchi is well marinated. Overall quite a big serving and absolutely nice though a little pricey! lol

Papaya Yogurt Blend  OK Jul 30, 2012   (Related Review)

For $2.20 a cup, this cup of papaya yogurt has a strong taste of yogurt, though popular but I did not really like it as I found the taste of the yogurt slightly too overpowering and covers the taste of the papaya This drink of papaya yogurt is not too sweet and taste really refreshing and no sugar syrup was added so quite worth the money. The portion is quite large and worth a try though I prefer its fresh fruit blend more than its yogurt blends! mad
