The is my first time here and it will be my last.
The food here is lousy and of low quality. Also the service here is definitely is way below average.

Had the Stone Grilled Beef Rice Pot. It looks like bimbimpak but the taste is nowhere near.
The Beef is average and serving is very small.
It comes with vegetables like carrot and green pepper but the rice is blend and tasteless.
I did not even bother to finish it.

The Ice YuanYang is totally tasteless. Feel like drinking ice water mixed with milk.

The waitress are slow and not responsive. Fail

Never will I go there again.

I like the concept of the restaurant but the food is just average.

Ordered the Chicken Noodle but it is no different from instant noodle with slices of chicken.

The Fried rice wrapped with egg is worse. Fried rice is tasteless. Thankfully the egg gave the taste of the dish.

Overall, it is a bad experience there. First time and will be my last time there.

Second time on two different outlets and both times ended in one word: Disappointed.

This time i ordered only the onion rings.
Bad choice. The rings are actually deep-fried big round onion rings. Never have tasted this before and is weird. It is hard and cold and tasteless.

Even the peanut sauce did not save it for them.

I used to like Wang Cafe more than Ya Kun because I think Ya Kun is highly over-rated.
Wang Cafe used to have good waiters and their toast are bigger and taste nicer.

Going today after 3 months has changed my view.
First, the waiter taking the order is new and takes long to confirm my order.
Next, due to severe lack of staff, there are hardly any clean tables.
When the lady finally comes to clear the table for us, she took away my order number tag and even spilled the leftover tea on my knees! All she said was "Sorry" and return with some tissue!
This is absolutely ridiculous!
My mood for afternoon tea was totally spolit by then.
We actually have to wait for 15 mins for our kaya-butter toast. And that is not after I have to asked why is the toast so long? And why my order number tag was taken away from me even before my food came.
The waiter actually came with the toast then(not sure if its for someone else), not feeling sorry at all and argued that they know I still have outstanding order.
Hellow?? Then what is the number tag for?? Would it have came without me asking, I cannot bet on that.
That totally pisses me off!
The tea + toast set is obly $2 but the tea is only normal and the toast seems to be on a diet. Thin slices of bread being toasted black.
Never again am I going to subject myself as a customer to such lousy service and food.
Ever.

One of the worst place to have food here

We order three dishes and none are even near the passing mark

First, the Fried Carrot Cake in XO sauce is too dry. It is not carrot cake but rather flour cubes in some kind of chili sauce. Fail

Second, the Claypot rice has too little ingredients and badly cooked. The rice is too wet and the salted fish taste is just too overwhelming.

Third, the bimbimpat is average, much better as compared to the previous two dishes. One good thing about this dish is that it is filling with generous portions.

Never order the yuanyang drink. You will be better off drinking water!
