Fresh, soft bread but small Smile Jul 21, 2010

Was walking around and saw this small pathetic little bread(called wassant) outside the shop.
And it actually cost $6 for 10 pcssad Got to be some kind of 'atas' breakfast for the 'atas' people.

Hence that day, I decided to be 'atas' for ONE DAY and bought two packets - chocolate and cream - doubly 'atas' lol

The bread is actually very soft and fluffy! Simply just melts in your mouth and releases the cream and chocolate flavour. Can taste quality and not overly-flour-ed. However, my vote still goes to the chocolate wassant.

My 'atas' status just lasted for 2 hours. tongue

Mocha Ice-Blended Smile Jul 18, 2010

One of my all time favorite – Mocha Ice-Blended(Regular - S$6.70)
Has been loving it since secondary school days and never ever grow sick of it.

The fragrant of the coffee bean together with cool ice makes it the prefer drink in tropical country like Singapore.

But please avoid adding the unhealthy whipped cream even though it enhances the overall taste.

Authentic Thai Food in SG Smile Jul 18, 2010

Categories : Thai | Restaurant

Was recommended by many of my colleagues, I decided to bring my wife and in-laws there for dinner to "score" some points tongue

And in the end, I won the world cup lol

The ambience is good and the service is excellent.

For 5 people, we ordered

Tom Yam Seafood Soup - S$9.90
Crispy Garoupa with Thai Chilli Sauce - S$28.90
Pandan Leaf Chicken(4pcs) - S$12.90

The much-heard-of TOM YAM seafood soup and its heavenly. The soup is fresh, sour and spicy all at one go. Not for the faint-hearted, pls. One sip and you will be knocked out just to get up again and ask for more.
Garoupa is served in thai style with ample toppings. The fish is fresh and so crispy that we actually ate the bones. Wonder if we are suppose to do that.

Not a chicken fan but the big chuck of chicken meat grilled in pandan leaf makes it fragrant on the outside and soft on the inside.

No space for desserts anymore but will definitely come back for them!

One of the best Chwee Kuay in SG. Located at a corner in the kopitiam, many may miss but this is one of the many stalls that no one should miss.

Comes in 4, 6 or 8 pcs, I always frequent there whenever I passes-by and want supper for myself and family.

It is smooth and has fragrant toppings, but the secret lies in the SAMBAL CHILLI!!
You got to ask for more chilli even though they sometimes may end up giving you lesser(dep on their mood). Nevertheless, I continue to frequent there and try to give my widest smile lol whenever i ask for more chilli.

You can actually buy just the chilli from them as well.

I am a fan of the curry-o here. Long queues are always attended to quickly because of the fast service. I can grab a hot piping snack here (that's why I love Old Chang Kee. The snacks are all served warm) and make my way home in less than 5 minutes smile
