Back with more reviews and photos. This time I will review the Baby Jellyfish and Scallops from the Japanese Buffet.

The Baby Jellyfish comes in a small portion in a bowl and it takes great pleasure to suck them out from the bowl at one go. It is soft and raw. The jellyfish ooz out the juice and taste within the mouth when you chew them. Definitely not for those who is not into raw cuisines.

The Scallop is fresh and cremey. Not those cremey that makes you sick of out but with a soft taste just enough to enhance the freshness of the scallops. I will still go for it even if it is raw without any cream. =)

Fast-Food real chicken Smile Aug 22, 2010

Always prefer Kenny Roger than KFC anytime even though Kenny Roger is pricer.

The reason is because the chicken served is tasty and big. Real Big. Not like those chicken expanded by the layers of flour deep-fried in KFC. Unhealthy!

Evey meal comes with wonderful side dishes, including Mash Potato, Potato Salad, Sweet Corn. All are nice, esp the potato salad. Served cold but not with over-whelming layers of cream.

The soft butter muffins is a MUST-TRY. Served hot, it goes well if you ordered any soup.
I prefer to have them plain to taste the butter flavor.

ice-cream Smile Jul 21, 2010

Went there for a birthday treat and a glutton like me never knew that there was an Udder Outlet in Bukit Timah!

Went there on a Fri late evening for supper and it TOTALLY PACKED! Everyone is there just for the ice-cream.
Even though I have heard about Udders, but it’s my first time there to taste their ice-cream.
They actually let you try their ice-cream before you decided. Hm.. wonder if I can try again, and again, AND AGAIN? =D This is the type of service I like even though it may slow down the whole ordering process.
After trying til we were half-full, we decided to “re-try” some of their best-sellers
Durian(Mao Shan Wang)
Tiramisu
Fruity Strawberry
Choya Lime Umeshu Sorbet

My best for the best is definitely the Mao Shan Wang for personal reasons. Tiramisu is not far behind followed by Fruity Strawberry.
Choya Lime Umeshu is nice and unique but not to my liking as its far too sour for me. Not surprising my wifey loves it. That’s the reason why we opposite attracts =D

They also do serve ice-cream with waffles. Will surely return for them!

Smooth and Silky OK Jul 10, 2010

Categories : Food Court | Desserts and Cakes

Good for light snacks. Tapau-ed a serving of green and white beancurd + cincau to share with my family of 4. The green one has a subtle pandan flavour which is popular with the ladies. It is so smooth it will slip down your throat. Nice. shocked

Need to request for more sugar syrup if you have a sweet tooth. They normally only give a little syrup to whet your tastebuds. Heathier choice? Anyway what I like about this stall is that it is 24 hours. I can grab a healthy night snack anytime I want smile

Pretty Good Peppery Pork Ribs Smile Jun 21, 2010
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Singaporean Chinese

You like peppery Bak Kut Teh? You'll probably enjoy dining here. The Bak Kut Teh broth was thickly flavoured by pepper. I liked it. Also liked that the staff kept refilling the soup without even being asked to. Good service. smile

Though I think the ribs are decent, my girlfriend who is a picky eater said that the meat was kinda tough. it didn't came off in a bite. Nonetheless, we both agreed that the pork ribs weren't too lean and it was a value-for-money meal. Have fun soaking the youtiao into the piquant soup of spices or peppers.
