Great Laksa Smile Nov 21, 2010
Categories : Malay | Halal

One of the best Laksa I have ever tasted in Singapore.
Not so spicy but it is tasty and rich.
The coconut milk used tasted different from those used in normal laksa.
The coconut milk does not create a blend taste and just simply makes me addictive bite after bite.

Heard great things about their dessert hence decided to try it out for tea!
The Black Sesame Ice Cream is a bang.
Though small, it has a rich taste of sesame.
A definite must try for sesame lovers.smile

Nice but expensive side dishes OK Oct 24, 2010

Wifey wanted porridge for supper so we ended up there.
We order one huge bowl of porridge plus stir-fried lotus and onion flower with toufu.

The stir-fried lotus is crispy and tasty. Not overly-cooked with tons of oil and is taste refreshing.

The onion flower is fresh and you can taste the juice within. Crunchy and juicy. But the toufu is a little too hard due to it being left there since afternoon.

Overall, the meal is better than I have expected. Lots of China students were also there to taste their local food.
Stir-fried Lotus. Nice

Prawn Noodle Smile Aug 23, 2010
Categories : Hawker Centre | Noodles

Prawn noodle is one of my favourite hawker cuisine.
They must have tasty soup to qualify as good prawn noodle.

The one here is one good example. The thick soup mixed with some chili powder makes it all the more tasty.

It comes with just two big prawns and the yellow noodle has the pork-lard cubes and chili powder as toppings.

The whole dish is just so apppetizing.

Good for afternoon tea OK Aug 22, 2010

Always love to relax and have afternoon tea with wifey.

We share a customised Cranberry Sandwich with Mayo Egg filling.
The cranberry makes the bread very appetitizing as the cranberry's sour taste makes the blend bread taste stand out.
The Mayo Egg is filled to the edge of the sandwich.

The Mushroom Cream Soup is just like any other mushroom cream soup. Nothing unique.
