Quick Meal OK Sep 04, 2010

As wifey was 'all of a sudden' hungry before a movie at Cathay, we spotted this wanton stall which serves a small variety of unique wanton noodles.

We ordered the Green Wanton Noodle Set for only S$5.90.
It came with a bowl of dry noodle with plenty of minced pork and a separate bowl of wanton soups.

The noodle is springy and different from the wanton noodle which we always have.
Most importantly, the wanton is filled with meat and spinach

Not bad if you want to have a quick asian meal.

Good Jap Food Smile Sep 04, 2010   (Related Review)

Back with more reviews and photos. This time I will review the Baby Jellyfish and Scallops from the Japanese Buffet.

The Baby Jellyfish comes in a small portion in a bowl and it takes great pleasure to suck them out from the bowl at one go. It is soft and raw. The jellyfish ooz out the juice and taste within the mouth when you chew them. Definitely not for those who is not into raw cuisines.

The Scallop is fresh and cremey. Not those cremey that makes you sick of out but with a soft taste just enough to enhance the freshness of the scallops. I will still go for it even if it is raw without any cream. =)

Beef not so nice OK Sep 04, 2010

The Beef Stew(S$14.50) is only so-so. Just like most beef stew, it is soft and tender but I think the sauce is a little salty for me. Comes with broccoli and small tomato, it makes the dish a little more colorful.

The Caesar Salad with Smoked Salmon(S$14.50) is much better. Comes in a basket, the salad is not too cremey with abundance of cheese flicks. With the smoked salmon, it makes the salad less cremey and creates a more distinct taste.

Good Pralet cake Smile Sep 02, 2010
Categories : Café | Desserts and Cakes | Brunch

Wifey loves signature Pralet cake here so we always come here just for that. Good to try if it's your first time to Caffé Pralet. chopstick You will definitely enjoyed the slight crunch of the hazelnut praline base. She went gaga over the block of solid chocolate moose that is rich yet surprisingly light and smooth. shocked

Main courses such as the The Bacon and Avocado Panini is pretty good. Healthy, light, generous filings. Only grouses are that this cosy cafe gets too cramp sometimes when there is a sudden influx of hungry people, not enough parking areas and service was a bit slow.

So-so OK Aug 23, 2010

Ordered the rojak to share with my colleagues and it turned out that the rojak is crunchy and tasty.
However, if you are one who likes to dip into lotsa of rojak sauce, you will not liking this,
The rojak sauce is little but thick. The thick sauce is tasty and oozes out after every bite.
What impresses me is that it is crunchy with lotsa of nuts !
