It was a week after my birthday and my friends treated me to a cup of Starbucks. Two of my friends shared the cost of a Venti. The choice of drink was Chocolate Chip Cream. That has always been my favourite drink and I would get that without fail each time I visit Starbucks. The chocolate bits was always nice and the ice-blended chcolate drink was soft, in a way creamy and icy too. It's prefect, that why it's my favourite. That was my first time getting a Venti and because of the student's price in Singapore Polytechnic, it costs $7. However, when I went back to school, my friends questioned, saying, "Why is your Venti so small?" It was then that I realised I was cheated and I had gotten a Grande even when I paid for a Venti. It was too late to go back and I had to call Starbucks up to complain. It was very careless of the staff to give me a Grande instead of a Venti. It made me feel really bad for my friends because they paid for this. THe next time I visit, I would definitely compare the size before I leave the shop.

My mum wanted to eat at Ghim Moh market because she likes the Yong Tau Foo there, but I have never really liked this place. So, without any choice, I went there to eat. I wanted to eat Roti Prata, but I found out that it was only available in the morning, so I had to settle for Thosai. The only one that I seemed to eat was the Egg Thosai, so I ordered that. The price of it was $1.50, the cheapest compared to the other food found in that shop. I remember the last time eating Thosai as an unpleasant one, but this time, I kind of enjoyed it. Maybe I didn't like such stuff at that young age. It was soft in the middle and crispy at the side. The egg was made nicely and it went really well with the Thosai. I might eat it again when I go there the next time and I'm sure it wouldn't be long before I return there.

It's my second time going to Nando's and I love it. This time, I ordered a 1/4 price chicken to share with my brother and the sides were Coleslaw and Fries.The fries looked yummy, so I took that. The 1/4 chicken cost $13.90. It was yummy and the coleslaw was nice, although I think that there was too much sauce. The chicken was tender, well cooked and very nice. It wasn't too salty and I found it really nice. I would definitely have that again.My dad asked me to get a drink, so I order a coke like thing (I forgot the name of the drink). It was made up of coke, some syrup and topped with Passion Fruit seed. It was sweet, gassy and nice. Perfect drink for a meal. I was I chose that instead of something else. The passion fruit seed was a little hard, but it was kind of chewy. I finished it all up. Sadly, I forgot the price of the drink. I really like Nando's and as the saying goes "First Impression Counts". Although this is not my first time, Nando's gave me a really good first impression so I would definitely visit them some time soon.

As it was my birthday and I was having a celebration, I had to order a cake. I had some other cake in mind, but I was unable to order them, so I settled on a convenient choice, Island Creamery's Ice-Cream cake. It was also cheaper than the others, a 9-inch cake for $48. I was glad I ordered Island Creamery's Ice-Cream cake the moment I tried it. Because I ordered the cake in advance, I could choose the flavour. The flavour of the ice-cream was Ping Pong Milo, with is Milo flavoured ice-cream with small marshmallows inside. The original flavour is Cookies and Cream. The cake was topped with gummies. I chose that cake because the gummies were attractive and I like gummies. Everybody who ate the cake commended that it was very nice. All of us wanted a second serving, however the size of the cake was a little too small. I should have gotten a bigger size. I am really glad that got an Island Creamery cake instead. I would definitely order a cake there sometime soon.

I was thirsty and wanted to grab a cup of drink and thought that lime juice was healthy. It cost only $1 so I ordered it. I was glad I did the moment I took a sip of it. It was sweet and sour. It wasn't too sour such that it would hurt my tongue. The little bit of sweetness made the drink taste really good. It is a good as it is nice and cheap. I would buy it again the next time I go there to have lunch or breakfast.
