It is best not to go to Carnivore in large groups! 20 odd friends and I went to Carnivore as a gathering. I do not know if the servers are not used to large groups or something, but the servers are very slow. So we decided to fill ourselves up with the buffet inside with is not very nice. The buffet choices are just too limited. However, the actual meat that the servers gave us is really good! Pity they they are not very efficient.

Chawanmushi is a must-try at every Japanese meal you have anywhere as everyone has their own secret recipe. I really love this smooth chawanmushi that seems to slide down my throat ;P

Itacho Sushi also serves nice sushi too. Try their salmon sushi! The seafood is fresh and the rice complement the salmon so well that it is practically a work of art. xD Furthermore, the price is reasonable!

Who says only shang hai has famous, nice xiao long bao. You can eat them in singapore at crystal jade too!! What's really attractive about xiao long bao and not char siew bao is the juice which is inside the ba. Its so amazing that the juice inside the skin of the bao can contain the juice in it. It taste really amazing when you put the entire bao into your mouth. When you bite it, the juice will come oozing out and next is the meat. Its really wonderful!The xiao long baos were served piping hot too!

Cotton candy frappe is definitely worth trying. its not very sweet like how a cotton candy taste like. The sweetness is just all right and it blend well with the frappe, as in the taste of the "coffee". This cotton candy frappe also somehow hide a bit of the coffee smell and taste so it will not be too strong. This is nice for someone who don't really like strong coffee.

This is what you can buy for your friend who don't like cakes. As my friend do not like cakes and we want to celebrate for her, we ended up buying a mango strudel for her. It was really delicious. the crust of the mango strudel was crispy and there is a thick layer of mango sauce with mango in the middle, it is not too sweet too. When you bite it, the spread of mango in the middle will ooze out, its even better than any cakes you buy outside.
