not recommended to have this tutu. it gets soggy very quickly and the white parts melt into a mess. the orange coconut bit looks fake and is overly sweet and wet. the white parts also break easily when you go to pick it up. service is rather unfriendly and slow. its cheaper than other places. about $2.50 but it is not fragrant and it does not hold up well. the coconut is also not very fresh.

fragrance has one of the worst bak kwa i've ever tasted. it is also the cheapest. it is hard and grisly and lacks real flavour. there is no smokiness. and it is super greasy. its very super hard to chew. the sales people are also super pushy. the bak kwa wasn't sweet in the right way. it looked bright red and attractive but it was a regret buy. not recommended at all. about $5 for 2 pieces.

if you get there late, there won't be much choices to choose from. as i didn't like the options that were left, i chose the standard red bean bun. the pastry here is pretty dry and strangely very dark brown. the sesame seeds on top brought out the flavour of the pastry. the bean pastry inside is very minimal. there is a huge air pocket inside. overall, it is not satisfying. cost $1 when on special

the ingredients are very sparse. like war ration. a few bits of tapioca bits, a few bits of yam and sweet potato. a lot of watery coconut gravy. the coconut gravy is very fresh and fragrant, so the gravy is good. but with such a small amount of ingredients, it is extremely unsatisfying. cost about $3. could have made this better at home. service is gruff and unfriendly.

not a fan of the buns here. the pastry skin does not hold up to steam at all and we had to hold the plastic bag folded down and blow on the buns, so that the steam does not ruin the bun pastry. the staff should have provided other types of container instead of plastic, which makes the bun pastry melt into a sticky mess. the filling is not great. the char siew was overly sweet and fatty. the staff is pretty unhelpful and very pushy. not impressed by the buns at all. not recommended. this is the char siew bun and costs about $5
