the only place which sells green tea pancake is jollibean. wish mr bean would sell it too. the pancake here is too dry and tough. have to chew hard. the pancake is cold - almost like being in the fridge. it is also covered in cling wrap like it is leftover from yesterday! the green tea filling is very very sweet and cloying. luckily the pastry is very bland so the very sweet filling makes up for it. about $1

they sell all sorts of kuehs here. newly opened store in the dessert row of the basement food area. pricing is comparative to bengawan solo. about $1.80 per serve for this getuk. the taste is less sweet then bengawan solo. the coconut shaving is very fragrant and fresh and surprisingly not dry at all. the tapioca is nicely cooked and not bitter. it is soft and yet still has a bite. moist and firm. unfriendly service.

the cookies are too small. love the pecan flavour but the size is too small. i suppose you can pop the whole thing into your mouth at one go, but it is too small to have enough satisfaction. there is no real bite as you just pop the whole thing in without being able to savour it slowly. it is very fragrant due to butter or butter fragrance. it is also super oily and greasy. the pecan flavour is covered but too much sugar. it is super sweet and super crumbly. about $5 per 100gm

not recommended to have this tutu. it gets soggy very quickly and the white parts melt into a mess. the orange coconut bit looks fake and is overly sweet and wet. the white parts also break easily when you go to pick it up. service is rather unfriendly and slow. its cheaper than other places. about $2.50 but it is not fragrant and it does not hold up well. the coconut is also not very fresh.

usually go for the red bean taiyaki but tried the chocolate one this time. it was pretty good. the pastry is nice and fresh. would have preferred it warm but it was cold. the pastry is also not perfect like some other places and there are holes and leaks in the pastry. but it is cheaper than other places as well. about $1.80. the pastry is thin enough and fragrant enough. it is also moist and not dry. the chocolate is milk chocolate
