Fancy some ice-cream cake for desserts? How about Baskin Robbins? The ice cream has a variety of choices with a choice of a different ice-cream and cake flavor. We chose mint ice-cream for its' refreshing taste after we cycled in the afternoon. The ice-cream was solid and nice, comparable to Swensons or Haagen diaz. However, the cake was not as nice, it tasted like bread instead of cake(Soft and fluffy). It might be due to the fridge that led the cake to taste like bread instead of cake. Although the cake was not as nice, other aspects of Baskin Robbins like their employees(Friendly and cheerful), the environment(Clean) and price makes it a must try! In addition, it is also a good place for people to chill and meet up.

As a chocolate lover myself, I am very picky with chocolates let alone chocolate cakes. The chocolate cake we ordered was really good and thickened with chocolate. It was really AWFULLY chocolicious. Not only was the chocolate cake nice, the cake itself was soft and suited to everyone's taste!In addition to that, the staff there was very helpful and patient with the ordering of cakes.

Are you a popcorn lover?If yes, you might want to head down to Citylink mall for a snack before heading to Esplanade for any performances. I was heading to Esplanade for a performance with a group of friends. We stopped by Garrett popcorn for a snack before we head for our dinner. We ordered cheese and caramel crisp. Prior to ordering, the nice and friendly staff offered us samples of the the different flavors before we made a decision to order which!It was really nice to sample something before ordering as it ensures that you order something you like. It was a good combination as cheese was salty while caramel crisp was sweet, alternating between the two allowed us to prevent the excessive saltiness or sweetness taste of the popcorn. As a regular or small popcorn might be too big to finish, sharing with a group of friends divides the cost of popcorn and the calories too!

Ordered the Fried calamari from fish and co. It wasnt very awesome because the dish contains too much of the rough side of calamari. It lacks the smooth side of calamari which I personally prefer over. In addition, it was too oily even for fried making it a bit distasteful especially if you have completed a meal already. Too much salt and oil was added. I would not order this again.
