After hearing so much about Tim Ho Wan, decided to bring my parents and my wife to give it a try.
Went on an Wednesday morning and was surprised with the long queues even before the restaurant start operations.
Malay Steamed Cake
One of the four heavenly kings, the steamed cake is soft and fluffy. Strong fragrance of the black sugar but it is not too sweet
Prawn Dumpling
The skin was thick and the prawn was huge and fresh.
Braised Chic Feet
A little spicy
Century Egg Porridge
smooth texture and the taste is just nice
Char Siew Bun
The bun is kind of crispy and the char siew fillings are really good!
Fried Raddish Cake
A bit too soft for me but the taste was good
Fried Beanskin Prawn
CCF with Pork liver
sounds like a weird combination but it was actually quite matching!
I would not say that they are the best dim sum restaurant that you can find in Singapore but they definitely do live up to their name as a Michelin star restaurant.
