Soft boiled eggs - makes me wonder how come their eggs are bigger compared to some of the toast joint. It was boiled just nice, not overcooked or too raw.

Coffee - Beside Ya Kun, I enjoyed the coffee here. Thick with roasted aroma

Ham and Cheese Toast - The bread was toasted nicely, making it crispy. The cheese was slightly melted and matches well with the ham and the toast. Inexpensive but fulfilling breakfast!

After having a good experience with their outlet in Clarke Quay Central, was looking forward to another good meal here.

The ambiance was equally nice in this outlet. Dim lights, cosy seats just that it doesn't have the view of the Singapore River just like the outlet in Central.

Ordered their Escargot and Caesar Salad again. Like my last visit to their central outlet, they were extremely good. Ordered 2 new items that i didn't try before

Squid Ink Pasta - Chewy Pasta with bits of diced squid and mushroom. The squid ink added a fresh seafood flavor to the pasta.

Beef Stroganov Butter rice - The beef stew was very tasty and the omelette was cooked just nice.

Recommended Dish(es):  Squid Ink pasta

Went to explore the new Djitsun Mall in Ang Mo Kio and saw this new Korean Restaurant, decided to have our dinner there.

There is a " kimchi" buffet counter which offers 4-5 different types of kimchi. There is also a " free flow " of lettuce if you are having their BBQ Items.

Ordered their spicy pork and beef short ribs for BBQ . The spicy Pork was really well marinated and it was also kind of spicy. The Beef Short Ribs was really fresh and it was juicy and tender even after BBQ.

The Seafood Pancake quite huge and it was loaded with quite a fair amount of seafood like squid, prawn and even oyster!

Overall, the food was quite good!

Cream of Mushroom Soup - tasted like campbell soup with additional bits of mushrooms

Cheese fries - Thick fries with melted cheese. Can be better it there are more cheese.

Sirloin Steak - It was served with some green vegetables and mashed potatoes. The Steak was tender and juicy however, the mashed potatoes was a bit disappointing as it was served cold. ( not sure whether this is the standard norm that the potatoes are served cold with hot sauce)

Thai Food OK Aug 07, 2013

Had my lunch at Baan Khun Nai. Ordered Cashew Chicken set lunch. The set lunch comes with a drink and a small bowl of tom yam soup.

The cashew chicken was not too spicy, rather, it was kind of sweet and goes well with the rice. . The tom yam soup was abit blend, not too spicy but the seafood was really fresh. The fried egg was also a bit too oily. Other than that , quite a decent meal for $8.
