New York New York Smile Aug 08, 2012

My friend and I went to New York New York early that day so that we did not have to snatch seats with the dinner crowd. I
always like salmon, no matter if it's raw, cooked or smoked. I ordered this dish which was something like KFC's melt.
(Only that it was thin slices of smoked salmon within instead of chicken.) I did not even need the tomato dip for my
triangular sandwiches. My friend ordered the common fish and chips. The batter sure was crispy (you could tell from the looks of it too), and wasn't too thick. Tender fish flesh was encased within the crunch!

That day, my friend and I decided to try New York New York's Giant Yankee Burger. Sorry to disappoint you but we were only
trying the burger, not the challenge itself. We shared the burger as from the picture, it looked and meant to be
MASSIVE! Finally after a long wait, the burger arrived! I was shocked by the amount of useless fries that surrounded the burger. Both of us (especially me), were not into fries and we decided to feed them those irritating flies that flew around our
burger throughout the meal. As I grabbed my first quarter, I could not helped it but to take a picture to compare the size of my hand to it. I loved biting into the thick juicy patty and I think that I could eat up the entire burger (without fries). Nyy had problem finishing his 2nd quarter as he started off by eating some fries. Besides the stunning size that wowed us, the meal was just satisfactory.

Nydc Mudpies OK Aug 08, 2012

My friend ordered the Jedi Mudster although he was not a fan of Star Wars. Ignore my lameness, the mudpie was actually
double chocolate chip and macadamia nut ice cream with oreo base and layers of cookie chunks. He ate in silence,
going to the dark side?
I ordered the Cookie Monster (neither am I a fan of Sesame Street) which was double chocolate chip and mocha almond
fudge ice cream. (Same descriptions for the following part behind.) To me, both mudpies looked almost similar except
for the ice cream flavour. I don't really fancy mudpies anyway, furthermore they tasted ordinary.

Desserts after meal Smile Aug 08, 2012

After a meal of garlic bread and meatball pasta, my friend added on a dessert of nutella crepe. The thin crepe was served
soaking with gooey nutella sauce which made Ocf really excited. The scope of chocolate ice cream and chunk of nuts
added on to his pleasure. I guessed he really loves the hazelnut and chocolate combination.
As for me, after my really satisfying meal of mushroom soup and mushroom crepe with egg (mushroomy meal!), I
decided to pick the lava cake with a scope of vanilla ice cream as dessert. The first thing I would do when I see a lava cake is to slice through it, allowing the sludgy-looking 'lava' to gently flow out of its confinement! (At the same time, to take a shot of it.) Enough of playing and back to eating. The cake was rather thin (sponge) and had plenty of chocolaty calories! As usual, the chocolate went pretty well with the vanilla ice cream.

Sorbet Sets Smile Aug 08, 2012   (Related Review)

Categories : American | Ice Cream and Gelato

It was quite a large set as compared to the others. (Maybe sorbets were cheaper as compared to ice cream.) Both the
strawberry and mango flavours were sourish and reeked of fruitiness. It was kind of difficult to eat at first as they were
really sub zero frozen. I kept impaling at the sorbets to quicken its melting pace. Do not be surprised if you can't finish
them as they were really filling.
