Buffet! Smile Aug 01, 2012

It was the colourful and seductive desserts displayed which tempted me to try this buffet. I have walked past this outlet a couple of times and each time, I could not take my eyes off the display shelves.I went with a friend to eat this buffet, which has a time limit of 80 minutes for dinner, and it was more than enough time for me to try out every single desserts and some of the food. I was already prepared for the high amount of calories intake and would be willing to run extra to eat this buffet. I actually started taking the desserts first before proceeding on to the other food. Sweet tooth like me loves this buffet!

Four Seasons Durians Pancakes OK Aug 01, 2012

Categories : Bakery | Desserts and Cakes | Halal

Had a sudden craving for durians! Who would want to buy the actual durian fruit when there are pancakes available? (Not me) Therefore, I went down to Ang Mo Kio Hub (near my home) and bought some durian puffs and pancakes to munch. The pancakes were prepared on the spot and were slightly crisp. Warm pancakes with chilled durian fillings inside. Yummy!

Blue Mountain Burger Cry Aug 01, 2012

I called the Blue Mountain Burger the 'Leaning Burger of Mad Jack'. 5 pattys and I took 3 beef and 2 chicken. The best part of the burger was its cheese! (I loved cheese a lot.) The most crucial yet the worst was the pattys! I felt that pattys were like pillars of a structure, once they were screwed, the building would topple. (I did not meant the physical form but the taste
itself.) The pattys were rather starchy and contained plenty of vegetables! Disgusting and totally caught me by surprise.

lvl 10 wings! Cry Aug 01, 2012

My friends and I still could smile before eating it. Until...we each had 1 mouth of the wing and after the count of 3, effects took place! Our mouths started to burn, eyes tearing, nose leaking and after about 30 secs, stomach at WAR! The feeling
was way worst than drinking alcohol. None of us continued eating after that single mouth. Sadly, each plate had 6 wings
and they were gone to waste. I could not imagine what if some stray cats or dogs went to lick it. I drank 4 glasses of water after taking a single bite. This shows how potent the wings were, or maybe we were weak!?

It was my first time drinking turtle soup and eating turtle parts! These parts include turtle apron/eggs/fats and other internal organs. Although that day my friends and I were the only teens eating at this restaurant (the rest were 40+ and older), we seriously enjoyed the $17 bowl of turtle soup. The soup tasted really herbal and potent and got our appetites going. (We ordered a bowl of rice each to go with the soup) Each of us also ordered a cup of refreshing lime juice although the soup
tasted so much better. Besides turtle soup, they also serve steam black chicken soup for $10. You got to try out every part yourself to experience the taste and texture.
