Le Cuisson OK Aug 08, 2012

There was a short queue in front of us. The menu was limited and it was pasted on the left wall, which makes it difficult
for us to order. As the 2 of us have not really tried French food before, we decided to order 3 dishes to share. I heard that this outlet's menu changes based on what the chefs found fresh in the market. The catch of the day on that day was sea bass, yellow tail and another fish. We took the sea bass. After we ordered, we went to find a table to have a seat. After some time, I remembered that it was self service and we ended up eating it cold. The first thing that caught my
attention was the microgreens and the beige sauce mixing with the rice. It looks attractive in a way. The fish was really
fresh but the piece was kind of small. As for the rice, it is quite hard, my friend and I were not sure if it was supposed to be that way, and we were not used to it. We had steak with marshed potato. My friend was not a fan of greens, so I ended up eating most of them. The steak was managable and juicy. The potato was rather soft, and it feels liquidity. If only there were more sauce for the steak as well as the potato, that would be awesome. This is the dish that I have been eyeing for long. Foie gras salad. Foie gras is normally an expensive dish, but since this is in a coffee shop, I must try it! We spilt the piece into 2, and both of us savour it slowly. It was nice! I love the fats melting slowly in my mouth, and I don't mind eating more of it. As for the veggie part, I ate most of it. However there was an improvement for my firend as he actually ate some pieces of veggie!

Daikokuya Jap Ramen Dining OK Aug 08, 2012

Both of us ordered the mix and match lunch set which consists of a bowl of ramen, a side dish and a rice bowl. The price
varies depend on the type of rice bowl. Ours cost $17.80 each. We added another $3 to upgrade our ramen to normal
bowl size. Warning: If you are not a garlic fan like my friend, please do not try this, or you will end up complaining about
garlics and struggling to finish it up. As for me, I love the soup base. It goes well with ramen and I finished it all. Both of us ordered the same side dish which is the salmon sashimis. 3 silces each, real fresh and I love the bright pink colour of it. My friend's rice bowl is unagi. He did not comment much except for being too full after eating all that ramen. Mine was the Ikura rice bowl. I was a little stunned when it came. I did not expect it to be minced and I felt like I was eating baby food. Simple and not too bad.

Muah Chee OK Aug 08, 2012

Categories : Food Court

When we reached, there was 2 person in front ordering. The couple worked together and both of them are quite friendly. It is true that he uses hand to pull the dough from the big lump and dipped into the oil before throwing it into the peanut mixture. His hands were fast in pulling and look at all those bite size muah chee! It tempted me even more to put those in my
mouth right away! My friend and I shared a box of $5 muah chee. It was really chewy and it makes a rather good snack when you feel like chewing something.

Vivo American Pizza & Panini  OK Aug 08, 2012

Categories : American | Restaurant | Pasta

This outlet was located at Clarke Quay Central and was well hidden at its basement. Not many people know about its presence though. Anyway, my dad ordered the garlic bread that was shared among the family. It was crispy and flavorful.
My dad and mum shared the fish and chip which was rather ordinary. I decided to try the pasta which at first sight, reminded me of autumn. Plenty of dried chili and spices sprinkled around the plate as well as in the pasta, it really was fiery and I had to constantly drink water to extinguish the heat building up in my mouth. My bro had the chicken with fries and 2 rings of pineapple. It was more of a savoury dish that was not quite filling.

Buffet! OK Aug 08, 2012

Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Seafood | Buffet

My friend and I went on a Monday's lunch as it is cheaper we thought that it would also be less crowded. We were so wrong about the less crowd thing as it was quite packed. Luckily I had made a booking in advance the day before. The concept is something like kiseki which have many different seating themes. I spammed mostly on sashimis, about 30 slices of swordfish and 15 slices of salmon, till I got sicked of raw fish. The food was kind of average and not too bad. There was also home-made soy bean milk, rojak, chicken rice, pizzas, pastas, seafood and other cooked food. There was also a children's play corner to entertain kids!
