I used to love Itacho very much, in fact used to be crazy over it, so crazy that I could have this three times a week. However I have found that lately the quality has deteriorated quite a far bit.
Anyway here are some of my favourites. Oops but i forgot to take photo of THE favourite, which is the salmon sushi.
I prefer unagi to anago, I know some of my friends call me silly for it but well.. anyway here is a photo of my Anago sushi

Chawamushi

Salmon Sashimi, i cant get enough of salmon

MOre salmon

Ootoro sushi! Fantastic

My unagi rice. Love unagi! One of those things that bring me to heaven

Saizeriya is one the places where my friends and i will visit when we run out of idea what to eat. This places serves a fusion of Japanese adapted Italian food at quite a low cost. If I am not wrong, this is quite a popular outlet from Japan. There are 2 outlets in Singapore i think, the other one is at city square mall.

Anyway this is my main course that day. Steak! Besides steak there are pasta, pizza, and your usual pork chop and chicken chop. They also have a variety of sides / appetizers.

Kaiseki and omasake  Smile Jul 26, 2012

I love Kaiseki and Omasake, but too bad it is just so so expensive. The price of the kaiseki set here is considered to be average at $100 per pax.

This was our rather interesting appetizer. I am not sure what it was but the taste was really pleasant and the experience unique.

Our sashimi platter was fantastic! I love the Aji which was in season! Wonderful! All very fresh!

This is also another interesting dish, pretty chewy and delicious.

The cheese lobster. Even my mum who doest eat cheese went home very satisfied with this dish.

Finally our tasty fried rice

Desserts - Yuzu sorbet! As always yuzu adds a refreshing end to the meal

Indeed Majestic Smile Jul 26, 2012

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Hotel | Dim Sum | Seafood

The food is indeed Majestic! One of my favourite restaurants in Singapore, if only I my pocket allows me to indulge in this more often! Photographs speak a thousand words, so well, let me just showcase the photographs. All the dishes are very good, exquisite in taste and sight! One of the places that you should bring for a special birthday or celebration. I wish my grandmothers were alive, I would certainly bring them here!

Delicious bowl of fish maw soup with abalone. Not surprise if this uses a pork bone soup simmered for ages.

Wasabi prawns

The lamb culet that i chose. Lamb cutlet with carrot cake. I thought the sauce was too overpowering. Too strong and too sweet that it masks the original taste of the lamb.

The sea perch which was alright

Beefy

Mango duck

The wonderful heavenly fried durian ice cream.

Avocado cream was good but of course nothing beats the fried ice cream which Majestic is well known for

satisfying Smile Jul 26, 2012

Had claypot fun for lunch. This was the lunch set, pretty good value. It comes with a claypot rice, soup of the day and cod fish! I love cod fish, to me that is the king of all fish! Love the oiliness and the fragrance of the fish. Love that it is so fat! This piece of fish comes top with preserved vegetable )(chai po), giving it a nice crush and lots of flavour.
The clay pot rice was not bad either. All in all a pretty satisfying lunch!
