before going for movie, friend & i decided to go for dinner at Bangkok Jam!
1st time coming to this place, it's recommended by her as she know i love thai food.
the concept of this restaurant is very unique, they even have the map of BTS.
even the coaster has name of places in Thailand such as Chatuchak, Petcharaburi & etc.i ordered iced lemongrass tea,feels that it's far too sweet.
would prefer if the syrup is separated and we can pour in ourselves.next, we had clear tom yum soup. we feel that it's far too sour, not spicy at all.
the ingredients inside were squids, slices of fish, mushrooms & prawns.
despite the seafood content, it doesn't taste fishy at all.next, to our main course. we ordered both their signature dishes..
i ordered signature beef noodles and my friend ordered fried egg noodles.
my beef noodles contain 2 beef balls, slices of beef and slices of beef chunks..
the soup has a nice fragrant and it taste even better after pouring all the chilli..
the beef isn't too dry, just nice.. it is very tender..as for my friend's fried egg noodles, tho it looks simple, but it's nice too!
it's being fried with garlic and fried onions, it has a unique taste,
it's my 1st time eating noodles with this taste. last, our dessert! my 1st time eating this..
tapioca with coconut cream..
it may not look very appealing, but it's delicious!
the tapioca is very chewy and the coconut milk bring out the sweetness.
the total cost is $57.95.. the price may be a little bit steep,
but we feel that it's worthwhile!

the dishes look yummy, so decided to give it a try.
this plate of rice cost me $4.50,
feel it's normal as what i know nasi padang is always slightly more expensive.

the hotdogs are being cut in 'pattern',
looks so cute! taste good too!

as for the chicken, you can feel a little bit spiciness.
love it! cox i simply love spicy food.
the chicken is not too dry also, just nice!

as for the rice, it's not too dry or soggy.
with a scoop of the gravy, i can simply eat it w/o any ingredient too!

cold cold weather..
so decided to have something hot..
chosen 7pcs of ingredients with noodles and laksa gravy..
7pcs of ingredients = $3.50
+ noodles = $0.50
+ laksa gravy = $0.50
after all, i feel it's worthwhile as this is orchard area.

the gravy isn't very oily or salty..
it has a very strong coconut fragrant!

the amount of noodles is appropriate, not too much or too little.
the fishball is fresh unlike some other places that has a fishy smell.
the lady is friendly upon serving too despite having crowd.

had a discount coupon which will expire on 31/08/2012, so friend and i decided to come here and have dinner.

we order soup of the day(cream of chicken), chicken cesar salad, my pasta was vongole and hers was meatballs.

the sauce and ingredients for the salad is just nice, the lettuces were very crunchy and fresh. seeing from the picture, chicken slices are in big slices. yum yum!!

her meatballs taste kinda sour, we think it could be due to the bolognese sauce that was used to cook the pasta. overall, was not bad, but she didn't managed to finish it due to the sourness.

as for my vongole, it's my all time favorite with loads of Tabasco sauce. it's awesome!

Recently, got addicted to Fresh Milk Green Tea.. It has a very strong green tea and milk taste..
Added 30% sugar, maybe next time i'll try having it without sugar..

Normally, i don't drink with any toppings, but ever tried with White Pearl Jelly, it's nice too! It's kinda chewy, it's like chewing on pearls + jelly.. So this drink w/o toppings is $2.90.. Recommended to people who love green tea like me!
