Loves waking up to a hearty breakfast without getting out of the house.

So I got takeout from Burger King yesterday. My morning breakfast platter. All that savoury stuff first while it was hot and the other half of it this morning.

Huge generous slices of thick french toast.

Happily heated up. It had that delicious taste of egg that i love and a toast that still had a fluffy interior.

Complete with my Lurpak butter and maple syrup.

One breakfast platter for two days worth of breakfast loving. smile

My healthier choice and one that i was especially pleased with.

The warm green tea is made from green tea, basil, mint leaves and yomogi- a herb found in grasslands higher up in the mountains.

This isn't vegan. It had a good mix of peanuts, long beans, tofu cubes, dried shrimp and anchovies all arranged in neat little piles just waiting to be mixed up.

I couldn't help thinking that this, although healthy, was just a mad carbo loading exercise.

Loved the way I felt after lunch though. smile

Make your own magnum!

I know I know. It's more like choose what goes onto your magnum.

Still. The idea is novel and it sells in Singapore. Even at $7 a pop!

White chocolate for me. With caramel bits, sea salt and wolfberries. Drizzled with dark chocolate please.

Boy was this a whole mouth of sugar rush or what! I probably should've stuck with milk chocolate. White chocolate was just too... sweet. *shivers.

But I loved my sea salt bits and caramel crunch. The wolfberries? They made it seem all the healthier.

Apparently these guys are a pop up concept and they keep on moving. This is the second stop after their official opening at the fountain at Clarke Quay. So check in on their fb for updates before heading over!

Chillax Smile Sep 05, 2013

Nothing like a kickback chillax afternoon.

Beanstro's latest outlet at Marina Square had an awesome menu that offered salmon, steak and seafood wrapped in cartoccio.

But what a pity, I already had lunch. So next time, definitely there'd be a next time. smile

A slice of their signature chicago cheesecake and a chai latte.

Rich and dense. Packed full of my favourite cream cheese and tangy lemon on a biscuit base one can never get enough of.

Chai latte. I love my milk and with everything, a little bit of spice makes it perfectly nice.

Sin city. Smile Sep 05, 2013

That's it. I flipped to this page and I fell in love.

Dutch Pannekoek which was basically crepes with fruit salad, cinnamon sugar, a random sprinkle of raisins with deep fried banana fritters and a double scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate sauce and topped with whipped cream.

Exactly what the picture showed. Having the banana breadcrumbed gave a texture to these fritters. It was a lot more bite than what would have been the traditional pisang gorengs. My only gripe? I wish they used fresh fruits instead.

Share this with a friend. I had to bear all that sin for one. ;)
