So I'm back here again.

And still tragic.

So we wanted an ape for bananas.

Only to be told that bananas were sold on weekends. Or something along those lines.

Changing our order to Ham and Cheesy, we were told that they did not have potato salad that day.

And what did they offer in lieu? We can add more vegetables for your side salad.

Seriously?

It's alright. Last try for a My Fruity Pie with Vanilla Ice cream.

Same cute pancakes.

Same small vial of honey.

I like the fruits.

And the ice cream.

Well, thats basically it.

Categories : Hawker Centre | BBQ

A tourist does what a tourist has to do. We brought our friend from Perth over to Satay by the Bay to get some touristy food. We actually hiked there, all the way from bayfront. This was no mean feat especially in the sticky sweaty heat and mozzie bites.

as much as the color might be unfairly distorted by the night and flash lights,

The chicken was not thoroughly cooked with blood still visible on the chicken meat. The same stall sells popiah at $2.50 per roll. I don't know about you but this was too expensive to be ordered. I felt. So we skipped it.

Overall verdict:This is an open air hawker centre at a prime location with prime prices and definitely of lacklustre quality.

This palce doesn't win my recommendation for tourist.

disappointed me. Cry May 27, 2013

so here i am with my girlfriend on a weekday after school, how rare for us to be off work by 2pm.

we ordered a going nutella and a lychee yakult.

and this was what appeared on our table.

this was not impressive.

yes the pancakes were cute but i didn't expect everything in this place to be polly pocket sized.

a half a vial of syrup? you definitely can do more than that. i'm not paying another 80 cents for another half a vial of syrup. Also the chocolate wafer bits definitely weren't loacker brand.

a tiny scoop of ice cream and pancakes that weren't fluffy.

i'm hard pressed to say it was anything memorable.

over hyped Cry May 27, 2013

It was a quiet night out at the bay. I decided to walk into Overeasy to grab myself some dinner.

Getting a space for one was easy. Especially since it was a cool day, I didn't mind al fresco dining.

The view was awesome. The noise level from the rowdy drinkers wasn't.

Recently been on a pesto crave so I ordered a Pesto Fettuccine w Spring Peas, Leeks, Asparagus, Garlic & Parmesan ($20)

It sounded amazing?

But it wasn't.

The pesto was very overly oil diluted.

The result?

Every strand was coated generously with oil.

And since everything else was vegetables, it was bland and very painful to eat.

Even though it was such a measly offering.

I'd pay for the view and to rest my legs after the walk over. but never this pasta again.

i think a picture says it all.

that's so measly.

oh dear me.

and it took forever to arrive.

if this was a cooked dish i'd probably understand.

but a sashimi salmon don?

i had to remind them at least thrice before i got my order.

and the slices were so pathetic.

i'd have at least expected the top of the don to be covered by sashimi pieces.

no matter how thin the slices are.

well.

seems like they couldnt even meet the bare minimums.

so much so that i had to order a side of salmon sashimi to go along.
