this ribeye, was a bulls eye for me.

when i say comfort food, you need to know what i mean.it looks just like how food at home would look. amateur but homely.

and the best part about this was the ribeye.

it was yummy! packed with juice and doneness just the way i requested for.

and because i asked, the chef did a bearnaise inspired sauce for my steak. cos i told him i had an alcohol allergy and didn't want the original red wine sauce.

i'm... well, impressed.

if you could walk away from this!

veronese chocolate.

i wasn't so taken with the name but those gold nuggets of ferrero.this was much like the gianduja that many other places have. its a chocolate hazelnut with a certain je ne sais quoi about it. it's like the chocolate baci in ice cream.

the flavours were dense and strong on nut and chocolate.

you have to try it to know it.

i liked the waffles here.thick and fluffy.

but what are waffles without ice cream?two scoops please. old fashioned vanilla which was redolent of the taste of vanilla and cream and double chocolate please.

the chocolate was thick but not overly dense. these two classic flavours were a delight to have with my golden waffle served piping hot! this outlet isn't very busy which probably explains why i love to come here.

so the verdict on this? not unless it's for a convenient supper.

this was a nightmare. we had a shrimp dumpling and a peanut mochi order. when the peanut mochi came, it wasn't the easiest for the skewers to be pierced into the mochi.

of course grounded peanut and sugar made it at least a little edible.but the shrimp dumplings.

you can see that they are obviously white parcels. not the usual translucent skin you'd get.and the one i had, was with a shrimp that was still cold in the middle. honestly? don't come here. not to this outlet at least.

So i came back for my slice of Korea. And unfortunately, I was already disappointed when they served it.A picture says a thousand words and hasn't that said it all? The army stew was served to us. in a weak diluted color and unsurprisingly, the taste was equally bland. And when it came to feedback?

I just had the waitstaff tell me she could give me more chilli powder to make the color a deeper red. You mean, i don't even deserve some nongshim seasoning here?

This was terrible. And suffice to say, I didn't order anything else. and left this half done before the both of us left.
