First time heard about 菜頭粿, is it some kind of dumplings with vegetables or else?
It made us feel curious about this so a friend bought this to us ... Oh, typically 菜頭粿 is turnip cake and in here, people use thick sweet soy sauce, garlic, bean sprouts and eggs to stir-fried with it.

菜頭粿were taste nice, the texture of the turnip cake was soft, it was depend on the balance of flour and the turnip.

Love to eat something sticky and glutinous, our friends in Singapore have told us to must-try the ondeh ondeh and steamed tapioca kueh in Maxwell Food Centre.

Those price are cheap but they are really tasty, soft and chewy ; something sweet and something has a little bit salty.

It's a very good experience to try these delicious desserts.

As a tourist and eating in Maxwell Food Centre , which food is my favourite ... ?
Not Chicken Rice, not oyster omelettes, not Bak Kut Teh

The answer is Mixed Balls Soup (Sotong Balls, Fish Balls and Meat Balls)

Sotong ball is cuttlefish ball, fishball is fishball, meatball is meatball, I love the firm texture of sotong ball and meatball, when chewing them, is like bouncing into my mouth;Fishball is smooth in texture with the natural sweetness of the fish, all of them are delicious for sure.
