Buffet, I will always opt for Sakura buffet. was glad that it is an certified halal buffet restaurant to cater for my malay friends to enjoy the food there. surprisingly at the price, the quality of the food is there. The sashimi is fresher than other pricey buffet out there and I always help myself to refill my plate of these tasty orange salmon sashimi. the cold prawns is fresh, crunchy and juicy too! other than seafood, they also offer wide variety of cooked food, teppanyaki food and desserts. service is fast and attentive and the servers clear our plates fast enough for us to continue to take more food to munch!

Well who doesn't like affordable eat all you can korean bbq? If you asked me, of course I will say yes! Ssikkkek korean bbq offers really cheap and affordable korean BBQ buffet to cater all sorts of diners to dine in their restaurant. Even though it is cheap, the standard of the food is reasonable and decent. I went with a group of my classmates and we really enjoy ourselves with those marinated meat and fresh lettuce for the cooked meat. There is also some cooked food available at the buffet spread such as some korean bites to ease your hunger while bbq-ing the meat. the marination to the meat is good too and has a few choices to choose from. This place is definitely recommended if you are going in a big group.

I heard about their really spicy wings and decided to go checm that out. my friend and I ordered 2 types the fried chicken - the normal version and the really hot and spicy chicken. well thankfully we had a large drink cos the spicy chicken is really burning hot and spicy. You are actually eating the chili and not the wings itself basically chili is all u can taste. Honestly after drinking my large drink, I still feel the burning sensation in my mouth and stomach. The normal version of the chicken tasted better (at least you can taste the marination and meat) it is crispy and not so oily though. But in my opinion it tasted like normal fried chicken.

I came across this place named cotton bleu and decided to check it out with my friends. a nice place to chill out with friends so we get ourselves some beer and also decided to order their foie gras to share. the portion of the foie gras is surprisingly big and came with toast bread at the side with garden salad. drenched in olive and vinegar sauce, the foie gras tasted smooth and melty. The olive oil actually make is smoothing yet give it an extra flavor. Definitely coming back to try some more of their food.

I am not a fan of ramen but decided to give yoshimaru ramen bar a try when we are around the holland village area. I had the moridakusan ramen (if I remember it correctly) which comes with their special pork bone soup base, pork slices and black fungus. I like how they add in the black fungus for the crunchiness as the other stuff that is inside the ramen is soft. makes it more unique by doing that. I like the soup base a lot too, very flavorful yet light. theres also a diy sesame topping bowl to grind ur sesame into the ramen but the frangrace from the sesame. by grinding it the sesame will be more fragrant and make the ramen more appetizing!
