Nice location at East Coast where one can take a stroll along the beach before and after meal.
Hotel Style

Hotel Style

Hotel style presentation and service provides customer with good attention. The restaurant was not crowded. However the restaurtant air conditioning was not cooling enough for hotpot eaters.

The servicing portion of food is little vs the price. Fixed portion with no selection of preference for each item. The choice of a raw ingredients introduced in menu comes in fixed portion. There is a selection of soup for the hotpot which taste surprising saturated. The raw ingredients are fresh. Cooked in the small hotpot has advantage of brewing nice soup compared to the bigger pots in normal restaurants.

Rice to enhance the taste

There is a chinese cook specially skilled to mixed the 'ma la' and dried chilli recipe with my selection of vegetables.
Great selection of mixed vegetables

The taste of the spice enhance the ingredients when you crunch.
Stirred fried with 'ma la' and chilli

The 'ma la' is surprisingly manageable, which the level of spiciness is not too hot to sweat you out. You may request the cook to lessen the spiciness to your liking.
Affortable bill

Well, they measure your selection by weight. One important key point, during selection, group your selection of same price type into one basin, another price type into another basin. Do not mix difference price type into one basin!!!

Tasty and cheap Mee Rebus ! Smile Nov 16, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Singaporean | Hawker Centre

The most tasty and economical Mee Rebus. The dried shrimp is plentiful in the gravy that makes it special, given one full egg for each plate regardless of price. Noodle and bean sprout boils in hotwater with quick action. My portion cost only $2.00
Long Queue

Long Queue

It sells only Mee Rebus (speciality) at recession prove prices starting at $1.20, $1.50 and $2.00. If you are a little student, there is possibility of a $1.00 meal. Queue early to avoid long queue during lunch hour.
Renovated Market

This stall has been in same location since 1980s. The cook (owner) is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Probably this is the reason their secret recipe remains as good.

Creamy Pastory Macarons Smile Nov 12, 2012

Categories : Café | Desserts and Cakes

One piece of rose flavor Macarons $2.35. Soft and creamy. After GST and Service Charge is $2.75
Melted in mouth with rich fragrance sustaining the taste. Hear that it is full cream and difficult to make which justifies for the price. The restaurant service is good and is not crowded, probably because of the new ambience.

Order a main meal, gives free desert or side dish or free flow of drinks !!! Even better deals for students (bring student pass) and senior citizens ! Do not wait !!! My total cost for Chicken in a basket + free ice cream desert + free plain water = $17. Worth it ! You guys will like the airport ambience, with train rides away from Terminal 1 and 3. Meanwhile, do shop for their ice cream mookcakes.
