Nice location at East Coast where one can take a stroll along the beach before and after meal.Hotel style presentation and service provides customer with good attention. The restaurant was not crowded. However the restaurtant air conditioning was not cooling enough for hotpot eaters.The servicing portion of food is little vs the price. Fixed portion with no selection of preference for each item. The choice of a raw ingredients introduced in menu comes in fixed portion. There is a selection of soup for the hotpot which taste surprising saturated. The raw ingredients are fresh. Cooked in the small hotpot has advantage of brewing nice soup compared to the bigger pots in normal restaurants.

This is a new store at Food Republic in Katong Mall.There is a chinese cook specially skilled to mixed the 'ma la' and dried chilli recipe with my selection of vegetables.The taste of the spice enhance the ingredients when you crunch.The 'ma la' is surprisingly manageable, which the level of spiciness is not too hot to sweat you out. You may request the cook to lessen the spiciness to your liking.Well, they measure your selection by weight. One important key point, during selection, group your selection of same price type into one basin, another price type into another basin. Do not mix difference price type into one basin!!!
