Now.. this is my kind of food! Smile Jan 30, 2013

When Singapore restaurants tell me they serve American portions... I am very cautious...

For instance they indicate.. "Warning! We serve American servings" I start laughing to myself!

Well.. when i went to chili's... it was the burger that was laughing!

This is no joke! Ok i was stupid enough to order a burger accompanied by starters and a margarita.

We ordered nachos with cheese and buffalo wings with a beef burger... Trust me the word bloated is too underrated to use in this scenario.

The nachos were pretty standard... nothing different... nice cheese to accompany like a bag of nachos was an awesome starter.

As for the buffalo wings... it was served with celery and cream cheese. This was epic... so epic the epic movie would be less epic than this... For some reason, i like to take the celery stick more than the buffalo wings and dip it in the cheese! Tastes so good!

As for the burger when it arrived... i was already full! So the burger was like a mouth putter for me... means that i ate for the sake of eating!! It was toooooooooo filling.... It had cheese, veg, pickles and so much of that made me whoa!! I gotta stop now!!

To add fuel to the fire... i had a margarita to top it off.... i was too full to drink it up!!!

So from experience if you wanna order here... order with caution... Like the saying goes... dont judge the book or another example... do not judge the toilet by its bowl...

But in all seriousness! Do not judge a burger or food by its size!

The service was good... very prompt with much initiative... they serve the starters almost immediately!

The ambience was fantastic.... ol school music very country style based music and all... I like the American text style around these places!!

I will hell yeah be back for more!!!!

2 for 1 for a size of 2 Smile Jan 29, 2013

Well!! Pizza.... a very generic party food extravaganza.. We are having a fiesta i say! Ayareba areba.

Ok so canadian pizza in this outlet is fantastic though i have never ever ever dined here before. But i did a takeaway once with the delivery.

Just after fayidha restaurant there is this small shop that sells canadian pizza! They have a super wide variety of pizza that helps to contribute to the wellness in me...

2 for 1 is fantastic because for me i am really big size and i have a large appetite... So 2 for 1 is fantastic and good enough!

My sister and i ordered the Family Combo for our whole family to share..

1 medium pizza in which we took tandoori, 1 side from set a and 1 side from set b.

For set a they have a choice of shepherds pie, macaroni basil sausage and i cant remember the last one.

For set b.. they had chicken caesar salad (yummy), fish and wedges and i also cant remember what the last one was. I think it was garlic bread.

It also comes with a free 1.5L pet bottle of root beer or sprite.

Great package!

So we had macaroni basil sausage (simply tasty not too blend as there are condiments to help you out with your suitable tastes!)
The chicken caesar salad was mine!!! (Haha i like a mixture of vegetables and meat in my food)
an extra side of beef lasagna and a 4 piece wings... It was around $48.95 quite ex butttttt.... it was good and filling! I had a blast of a time.

The service was great, the operator had excellent product knowledge and also a great personality! Well done!

When you are hungry at night... what do you do?? Call MCDONALDS!!!! well i like to go to Fayidha restaurant at Kim Keat Lane.

Over the years, i have seen many indian muslim food stalls open and close. This place is fantastic,

Here are a few reasons as to why this place is fantastic.

It opens 24 hours
The prata is made from scratch
The curry is spicy and piping hot
The varieties of prata is so epic... Plain, Egg, cheese, cheese onion, cheese egg, italian, and my favourite CHEESE MUSHROOM!!!
Lastly, KAMBING SOUP with the bread wah this is fantastic to me.

The other dishes that are awesome would be, Maggi Mee Goreng with fried egg, Chicken fried rice pedas with fried egg, Mee Goreng with fried egg and of course their Roti John!!

Ok so we got the food down, try this.. ICE MILO CINO!!!!!! no one does it better than the owner of the place. It will bring you straight to heaven you will see the skies clear and you will get back into yourself and this happens with every sip.

The staff knows us so i guess service is good and i myself have no idea what is up with this guys, they know the menu by heart and your order by heart so no one can really fool them at all.

However, dont be too petty about this place as the environment isnt super clean but clean enough to dine!

Fayidha is a great midnight place to hang around and to eat so go and get your heavenly fix tonight!

Junk food at its best Smile Mar 15, 2013

After a month of confinement in army and eating army food... i booked out at my first BMT to know that i spent a lot of money the whole night!

It started off with Carls Jr... at Plaza Singapura... I will never EVER forget... i lost 10 kg and i think i put on 2kg that very night...

I bought a angus beef bacon cheeseburger... Damnn juicy beef burger... onion ring.... a little ketchup and bbq sauce... and damn this was complete just the starter... the burger is a burger no holds barred large burger and i couldnt say more... i whacked it down in 5 mins... hungry and i was hungrier....

Secondly, i had the chili cheese fries..... ONE LARGE BOX OF GOUT AND DEATH staring at my face... but i conquered it.... chili cheese poured over large fries is just the way to go... When you are bald... hungry and tired... you do one thing... eat chili cheese fries!! Nothing else...

The drinks are of free flow but i had water for a healthier option... hahaha the irony but i would say it is a very well $15 spent...

The staff from what i know... is very efficient and very friendly... i havent been back in awhile and dont plan to so soon... But this is the one time il never forget what i had...

Hot, wet and tasty.... I am talking about xiao long bao of course!! I simply love this place. Located at Jalan Besar, this place attracts foreigners and locals alike.

We ordered $60 worth of food for about 4 people and i must say that this was awesome! Pork ribs brought in a small bamboo pot, siew mai, char siew bao... Wah i cant go on anymore coz im actually really hungry now but all in all... It tastes super nice fresh and warm.

The service there is fantastic though it will be an added advantage if you are mandarin speaking. The staff there will be helpful and assist you and you can clarify all your orders with them and they will serve you promptly.

Lastly, the ambience is really simple, coffee shop like tables, simple cutlery and some awesome ol school stools and yea thats about it.

When you are hungry at night, head on down to Swee Choon to get an awesome time! With food of course!!!lol
