Whenever i have my weekend duties... i head on down to this place to ta pao for the day accompanied with a few bottles of unsweetened drinks from Cheers...

The other times i have to resort to other stalls like the one i had on a public holiday.

Anyways, this stall is not very worth it for their servings... Things are getting ridiculous... Nasi Lemak rice with 1 egg and 1 chicken sausage $2.80? Really? Wow... Though the rice is fragrant.. theres no chicken wing and nothing else that can be worth 80 cents.. Unless you are trying to say that 1 bowl of rice is $1, 1 hot dog is $1 and 1 egg is $0.80? Then wow... i better be giving out golden stuff...

Im a bit disappointed sometimes but i guess for every weekend duty, this has kept me company and because of the memories... i will rate it ok...

A long queue OK May 06, 2013

Categories : Malay

I saw the super insanely long queue at Tanjong Katong and it could only be one thing Punggol Nasi Lemak Centre... Hmm and so i have heard a lot about this place...

The chicken is really good, full of flavour and crispy as well... The rice is very grainy not exactly super moist... the chili is pretty tasty... sambal tumis is what i call it... quite sweet and quite spicy..

The egg was quite ok... nothing very special but i can say that it was a very tasty influence of this malay dish.

Tze Char... Smile May 06, 2013

Categories : Food Court | Seafood

If there is a stall in Singapore that i am the most frequent amongst all my meals... it would have to be this stall... Located 5 minutes from my block, this place offers a wide range of Tze Char dishes...

The dish: Sambal Chicken Fried Rice with egg and less oil

The reason why i order chicken fried rice is because i do not favour the normal shrimp and mixed vegetables simply because it is very sweet and sweet rice with shrimp don't go so well for me... So, the dish i usually will order is the Sambal Chicken Fried Rice and for extra kick, i will get the egg as well....

The taste: Simply awesome.. though depending on the cook sometimes it can be a bit bland. However, it you make it that awesome the yolk will break and when mixed with rice... Ooohh that will be a whacker..

The price: $6.20.. well this is costly but i have to say that once in a looooooooooon while you have to indulge... and i do not order this quite frequently because its very sinful.

Tom Yam Soup Smile May 03, 2013
Categories : Thai | Halal

The dish: Tom Yam Soup

Description: Amazing as it speaks for itself... The soup i ordered was the fish soup which was pretty amazing... Nothing so crazy except when i usually add chili padi into the soup accompanied with the rice... The one thing you must take advantage of is the chili padi... Coz its free... Thai food is supposed to amazing and it truly is... Shame on those who cant accept the way it is... This place offers a very good variety of food and if you don't think so... well thats ur loss...

Ok service... is pretty damn good because they greet you and constantly check on you...

Verdict: Tom Yam Soup is pretty good... No complaints...
