Frolick.. candy for many... Smile May 30, 2013

Well many years back when i went to chomp chomp and after which we headed to this place called frolick... Frolick is a place where there are a few good things but 1 very disturbing thing... Its just so white... For me a place must have necessary mess... No doubt about it but unfortunately this place doesn't really have that... But put all that aside... There's one thing that you can always do and that is to have some good yogurt...

The yogurt was really tasty and the best thing was that they have a red bull shake and they have another original yogurt flavor... So nice..... Actually it is too nice....

There are many toppings in the display for you to choose from canned peaches, strawberries to chocolates and marshmallows etc. I ordered the ones with mango bits to compliment the sweetness of the yogurt....

Have you ever tried spicy wings? Well if you have not tried it anywhere... This is the place to go... Awesome wings... Super spicy and super good....

Walked over to Boat Quay after heading to the thai restaurant... My friends and I decided to have a pint of Heneiken and saw some some bar food... I saw chicken wings and the chili portion of sambal on top of wings... Cheese fries were also on the menu as well.....

We ordered those 2 dishes in light of sharing. Good staff very friendly and youthful

Fried Rice with Big Prawns Smile May 29, 2013

I know i cannot eat prawns but for those of you who can... This place offers some good prawns in the fried rice...

It is pretty expensive though about 8 or 9 a person... The fried rice is truly a spicy delight.... Such awesome stuff.... Mixed vegetables, thai spiciness and to that... It has 4 juicy prawns to this fried rice... Now if you walk along Boat Quay, there has been a lot of stalls that sells food that is not worth it but this is pretty good...

Went there to visit my friends who came to town...

Awesome wings Smile May 29, 2013

I have known this place since young and now its very much a rundown place. Nevertheless, love the ambiance this place provides and of course not forgetting the chicken wings. I will try them every time i come here. It has a very nice batter though you would have to wait quite awhile for it to be prepared.

The wings are served with the chicken rice garlic chili. I tell you as i am writing now, it makes sense that it is mouth watering, so tasty and so good.

We always would want to order more and next time i would... Served with San Miguel beer, I cant believe the tastes that it actually gives with such a good mix together..

2nd visit to how hup Smile May 29, 2013

I have been here a couple of times but on a Tuesday night was another time that i actually went to that place again...

We ordered a large stingray, one small fried calamari and 1 plate of sambal kang kong... The total costs around $29.50 with 3 plates of rice.... This is actually pretty cheap for 3 dishes....

The fish was really big.... For 3 persons very worth it... IT COSTS $15 which was really cheap....

The fish was juicy and fresh and the lime was added to make it nicer and more fragrant... I couldn't help it but i used my palate instead of my stomach to eat the fish...

The calamari is fresh and the taste was unique served with tartar sauce, this stall knows how to cater the east and west cuisine in a mix....

Laslty, the kang kong costs $5.. That is cheap for a small kang kong... It has no other way of telling you that $5 these days for a family of 3 to have kang kong at $5 is very cheap....

All in all.... a very good taste in foood........
