When i finished serving my army... we had a gathering at this place... it was truly unforgettable... We had the meat platter for us to share..

The price if i am not wrong was about $84?

Served with beef, chicken, kebabs, potatoes and vegetables... this is an epic meal for all of us....

I wanted to see my friends for one last time and that was it after that...

I had a lot of meat and i mean a lot!!! A LOT OF MEAT!!!! Not as bad as carnivore but it was epic...

The service staff was good and we could even see them having their own meals cooked by their own restaurant... hmm sounds wonderful...

I would love to go back but it is one hell of a meal....

BBQ Goodness Smile Mar 15, 2013

It is very customary of myself to bring my family out for dinner every month at pay day no matter how much i earn... Last week was no different....

There are many stalls that serve BBQ stingray and so on and so forth and people are sometimes customary to certain tastes and styles of cooking.

I was very accustomed from this stall for many years. This stall serves much more than all the others for the price you pay...

$15 for the sambal stingray served with chinchalok, and a serving of lime together. I can taste the awesomeness of everything when mixed together. The fish portion for the large is really big and really awesome.. There is not much fishy smell and there are a lot of interesting things that add to the flavor...

They are also famous for their deep fried calamari... it is crispy and the Squid taste is not very strong.... I paid $10 for a plate which was served with mayo..

To end it all off... i had some sambal kang kong... $6 for this... its honestly quite cheap... The tastes is very good... not too much sambal but very proportionate to the chili.

I saw the OpenRice Sticker there and was talking to them about it and how it got there... They are a happy bunch of people! Fascinating at the same time hard working.. I know the guy there but he respects all his customers and for the rest of the people as good friends.

All in all its just another brick in the wall and its coz of WE THE PEOPLE!! respect this places a lot.

Total cost for the night $32.50

BBQ Goodness go at night for awesome atmosphere.

If you are well equipped in whampoa.. you will find yourself tasting many stalls with hokkien mee fried oyster.. deep fried carrot cake and the list goes on and on.

This is the only bbq chicken wing stall that i can actually find here in whampoa... hmm.... mmmm the result... very naise... very naise...

It has a very high volume of customers during sunday nights so expect to wait around half an hour... It will be served with chili and a slide of lime...

1 chicken wing costs around $1.20.

This stall also serve crabs and cockles but unfortunately i do not know the exact price for it. The taste of the chicken wing tastes really juicy and it is spicy when dipped with chili and the lime brings out the lime in the chicken.. i cant describe it... Its so wise... like a old old wooden ship named diversity...

The service is fantastic but you have to bring the cash to the stall as payment is made up front.

This stall opens at night only from early evening to around late night...

Thats all for now! You stay classy OpenRicers!

Wafflelicious Smile Feb 19, 2013

I love this place... Its a nice chill out area on a saturday night where you and your friends can get a waffle with ice cream or gelato they call it but for me it tastes more like ice cream. I dont really care but it tastes great.

After church at Novena, my friends and i decided to head down to wafflelicious for dessert/dinner or something like that. Basically, I didn't know what to get so i saw the menu... i thought for a bit and got the plain waffle with cookies and cream ice cream and fruity pebbles.. I also some extra candy.. with the waffles.

My friends ordered as follows...

Banana waffle with chocolate and hundred thousands,
Strawberry with vanilla and choclate rice
Plain waffle with chocolate and hundred thousands and
i really cannot remember the last one.

I am a big fan of dessert and get this... i have just gotten my sweet tooth back so im guessing i will go back for more but on a consideration basis.

The staff were fast and good... they had the nets machine so that was good.

Lastly, the environment seemed pretty dope.. they had a sofa and all... pretty nice.

Will definitely be back for more!
