I rarely eat fast food, But when i do... Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is an excellent choice for me.

The lunch time crowd wasnt so bad but now with the school holidays, it is difficult to get a seat! Come and try to get a seat during lunch!!

My colleague and I had a crazy appetite for this joint since we knew it was nearby.

While my colleague was waiting in line for the food which took about 20 mins, i was looking at the environment while waiting anxiously for my meal to try out their mash potato!

This is how i like my Popeyes, 1 set of 2 piece chicken no rib or wing, served with the biscuit fanta grape and the key dish from Popeyes!!! THE MASHED POTATO!!!!

This mash potato is not any ordinary mash potato, it is slightly spicy, with a lil chicken chunks and the awesome sauce that goes with it. Simply sinful but it is an awesome feel and aftertaste in the mouth!

Now this popeyes is clean and the service crew is very warm! I love their stuff and i would come back to Popeye's for another time round!!

MASH POTATO!!! The best i have ever had!!

At steam sia, You can re-live your childhood memories for me, it was probably the end of an era to the new technology age.

Steam Sia is a very cosy joint around 15 to 20 mins from my place. I like the ol scholl stuff and thats one of the reasons i went back to that place. I kept looking at the country erasers as it was an ol school game for me when i was in primary school!

Anyway i had the chicken curry shared with my friend and we each had a plate of the tom yum spaghetti. As usual, it didnt disappoint me as i can get the true nonya style of the curry. I loved the Spaghetti as it was too overly done or undercook.

The service is good! Very prompt and considering their high volume of people, it was fantastic.

Its a clean place with ol school coffee shop style context sitting.

Il be back at steam sia again!!!

Hot, wet and tasty.... I am talking about xiao long bao of course!! I simply love this place. Located at Jalan Besar, this place attracts foreigners and locals alike.

We ordered $60 worth of food for about 4 people and i must say that this was awesome! Pork ribs brought in a small bamboo pot, siew mai, char siew bao... Wah i cant go on anymore coz im actually really hungry now but all in all... It tastes super nice fresh and warm.

The service there is fantastic though it will be an added advantage if you are mandarin speaking. The staff there will be helpful and assist you and you can clarify all your orders with them and they will serve you promptly.

Lastly, the ambience is really simple, coffee shop like tables, simple cutlery and some awesome ol school stools and yea thats about it.

When you are hungry at night, head on down to Swee Choon to get an awesome time! With food of course!!!

It is quite difficult to find good Nasi Lemak at Night near my area unless of course you make your own.

Unless of course you take a walk or drive down to Whampoa Market for Lunch or dinner. For lunch, it is relatively crowded due to the lunch crowd from Balestier or near by those areas but done tbe suprised if you find a crowd at night as well. Before the market renovated many years ago, it moved to a temporary holding site at an open field, it was still there, great tastes and same freshness.

When it moved back to the original site in 2006 or 2007 i cannot really remember, it was still serving fresh stuff. Why do i say so?

You can see the cook, frying up eggs, chicken wings, fish fillets, luncheon meat... Need i go on?? The main point is that it remains fresh and oily but good.

I usually buy a packet because i like the comfort of my own home in the afternoon and you are able to choose what we want to order. 1 serving of rice, fried chicken wing, 1 sunny side up egg, 1 chicken sausage and 1 piece of luncheon meat finished off with some sweet and spicy sambal tumis.

Service is good and systematic, it is fast and they get the orders correctly! Ok it is a hawker centre, dont expect super super clean environment but you can expect something good enough, the food, the style and the esscence of Whampoa.

When you come here, you really dont know what to get, try this out very affordable around 3 to 4 bucks and it is quite hard to find thiese kind of prices nowadays.

Every saturday, I have a standard routine of going to Novena church followed by having my dinner at Wee Nam Kee restaurant.

To start off, the place is big and specialises in chicken rice but have other stuff. I cant expect roasted chicken at 9pm but i think that the steamed chicken is equally good. It is a little cold but the rice is a neutralizer as it is warm and tasty. The condiments at the side provides us with many tastes.

There was one night, i was feeling a little sick and had their soup of the day. It was the pork rib soup with red dates and winter melon. Yumm... as it was a cold night, the soup was really helpful. It is a little pricey though, one plate of steam chicken rice with a glass of lime juice is around $5.30. Despite the price, it is still tasty.

The place isnt absolutely clean but it is suitable for dining. I cant blame them there are so many people dining there.

Lastly, the service is good, prompt and lots of intiative and the dining experience overall was ok.
A good place to recommend for people who love chicken rice but if you want roasted,
