Chinese Tea OK May 20, 2013
Categories : Coffeeshop

Went to jam near yishun and had a nice dinner afterwards as the mrt station was near the coffee shop so we decided to head over there for our meals... This coffee shop is good for another good thing and that is the awesome cup of chinese tea that is being served. The lady was quite friendly as she served us but nothing can beat the day when we are served with a nice cup of chinese tea.

Simply soothing as it flows down your throat in your body after any meal ensures that you are very healthily nourished.. About $1 a cup

Breakfast at KFC OK May 07, 2013
Categories : American | Fast Food | Halal

One of my buddies and i headed over to KFC after a holiday duty to have some breakfast... I ordered the waffles and eggs and a drink of ice milo...

Being a public holiday, it was quite busy.... so i had wait a bit to get my meal...

From what i could remember, it was quite cheap... around $4.50...

The KFC waffles were hot and the eggs... fresh nothing else you can say about it... but it was quite fresh....

I tried the unthinkable and put the eggs in the maple syrup.. quite exciting...

Nasi Briyani. OK May 07, 2013
Categories : Malay | Hawker Centre | Halal

Headed over to amoy street food centre aft lunch hours to have a look at the place and decided to settle down at this Nasi Briyani Joint...

The taste was quite excellent... Nothing crazy but the queue was one quite empty...

The rice was grainy and the curry was pretty ok... not very spicy but i guess its pretty good.
The coloring was fantastic and they had quite a bit of choices of chicken and mutton... but usually i will skip mutton due to so much unhealthy stuff so chicken was a good choice..

The verdict: Great stuff, slightly spicy and quite filling...

Whenever i have my weekend duties... i head on down to this place to ta pao for the day accompanied with a few bottles of unsweetened drinks from Cheers...

The other times i have to resort to other stalls like the one i had on a public holiday.

Anyways, this stall is not very worth it for their servings... Things are getting ridiculous... Nasi Lemak rice with 1 egg and 1 chicken sausage $2.80? Really? Wow... Though the rice is fragrant.. theres no chicken wing and nothing else that can be worth 80 cents.. Unless you are trying to say that 1 bowl of rice is $1, 1 hot dog is $1 and 1 egg is $0.80? Then wow... i better be giving out golden stuff...

Im a bit disappointed sometimes but i guess for every weekend duty, this has kept me company and because of the memories... i will rate it ok...

A long queue OK May 06, 2013
Categories : Malay

I saw the super insanely long queue at Tanjong Katong and it could only be one thing Punggol Nasi Lemak Centre... Hmm and so i have heard a lot about this place...

The chicken is really good, full of flavour and crispy as well... The rice is very grainy not exactly super moist... the chili is pretty tasty... sambal tumis is what i call it... quite sweet and quite spicy..

The egg was quite ok... nothing very special but i can say that it was a very tasty influence of this malay dish.
