They say that you should never never judge a fish from a pond!

I say i dont give many hoots off a camels back!

Manhattan Fish market is the place to go for some nice fish and chips!

Went there after my work that day to chill and dine with some of my frenz! We had a blast as we were laterally making a lot of noise.

ordered the dory fish and chips and boy i cant tell you how happy i was was putting that fish into my mouth! From the pond to the fryer.. in my mouth and down my throat! This was so awesome!!

It came with a lemon wedge and i asked for more because i like to put it in my fries! The citrus taste with the potato is actually not bad! AWWWWWWEEEESOMEE!!!!

SO moving on, i ordered the set meal which came with the clam chowder and the citrus drink that was pretty pretty good! Damn i needed more citrus fries as it is served hot! HOT I MEAN HOT!!!

Service was ok because it ws really crowded but hey i got no complains to that.

Ambience pretty noisy but i guess thats what the nature of a market should be like!!

Il be back for more!!!! Fish and chips!!

Soup is not for drinking Smile Jan 29, 2013

Ever had a day where we couldnt think of what to eat? Soup seems like the only legitimate option?

Well i had one of those days where i couldnt decide what on earth to it that this place attracted me to buy a bowl of their delicious soup.

I was shopping for gifts when i decided well hey.. this place looks nice.. i looked at the soup and the had the calories there to have a calorie watch!

Nice job! Well then i had the Simon and Garfunkel soup! Now this was epic... i wish it was hotter though as i mentioned before in my earlier reviews... that i liike the super duper hot soup feeling!

I paid around 7 to 9 bucks for this? So i think it is quite worth it! The soup is dammmmmmmmmmmmmn good! It has mushrooms.... carrots.. meat and the texture was thick but not a turn off!!!

Will come back for more!

Long time for good rojak Smile Nov 30, 2012

I have stayed in this area for very long... i have had many rojaks come and go and so on and so forth.

Balestier Road Hoover Rojak is something i rarely eat because of the things inside.. It tastes nice but its harmful for me.

Nevertheless, the queue there is extremely long and i have to wait for half and hour during lunch time. It is so long because it tastes so awesome!!! The lady who serves us is very kind and therefore i go back to her to recommend to my friends!!

Hawker centre so dont expect everything to be clean but it relives the whampoa culture....

Awesome dinner at ghandi  Smile Oct 04, 2012

Categories : Indian

My close friend called me last week to go and try out this place. Wonderful experience! This place is not easy to find as it is not very direct, i still cant remember how to get there. However, its worth the travel to this place. For those of you who are not familiar with indian style dining and eating habits, this place will make you learn a lot about the cuisine more. It serves vegetarian and non vegetarian cuisines. This stuff is really spicy and it makes you extremely full. Lots of white rice fragrant and huge in portions down with mutton sambal and chicken sambal!! It is extremely crowded and if you are not used to crowds... well then...lol

The utensils are all metal that includes the cups. Ok this is really awesome, the curry is free flow. What happens is that the server will bring your desired curry be it mutton, fish or chicken will be served to you! After meals, there will be indian sweets and either youghurt where you will have to purchase of course but it is worth it.

Less than $30 Prawns, mutton sambal, chicken sambal, chicken masala, free flow of rice, free flow of curry, 3 lime juices among 2 people is really cheap for some indian food. lollollollol

I love ghandi restaurant!!!lolloltonguetonguelollollollollol

Dei... Prata.. dei... Smile Apr 30, 2013

Rule No1 of prata never use chopstick to eat prata... its just so wrong...

Ok going to school at Republic Poly, my friend and i were driving to school and stopped at Casuarina Curry for some prata and thosai...

The order was 1 plain thosai and 1 egg thosai...

My friend and i also shared some butter chicken.... the taste is really rich... richer than masala.. where the kunyit is a bit lesser...

Service was quite spectacular... no complaints though sometimes they tend to forget about your servings....
