Prawn Chee Cheong Fun Smile Aug 28, 2011

The prawn chee cheong fun is certainly a good breakfast to have. The chee cheong fun is smooth and tender. Importantly, it is not very thick too. Thus, one does not get sick of it. Together with the fresh prawn and sweet soya sauce, it is a delicious dish as the chee cheong fun itself is tasteless actually. Additionally, there is also sesame seed and sesame oil.

Minced Meat Noodle Smile Aug 27, 2011

This is my favourite stall for minced meat noodles. It is very well-known for soup minced meat noodle instead of the dried ones. There is always a long queue for it. The noodles are very springy and very well-cooked. The soup base is very sweet and does not make one thirsty after drinking too. There are lots of minced meat and meat balls given too. The meat balls are fresh and chewy. Usually I will order the $3 serving as the small one at $2.50 is not enough.

Rojak Smile Aug 27, 2011

Rojak is one of my favourite snacks. The you tiao and fried beancurd is very crispy and the serving is generous. The taste of the prawn paste was mixed well. It is neither too salty nor spicy. The peanut gratings enhanced the taste of the items in the rojak. There are also cucumber, turnip, beansprouts and pineapple. Thus there are actually some healthy food amongst the fried stuff in rojak.

Wanton Noodle Smile Aug 27, 2011

Pontian wanton noodles originate from Malaysia and comes with a special dark sauce that has a unique taste. The noodles are springy and give a good bite. The sauce added was appropriate such that the noodles was not too wet nor was it too dry. The char siew is well marinated and tender. The fried wanton has a very thin skin and is very crispy. This is a good breakfast to have.

Beef and Corn Smile Aug 27, 2011

Pepper lunch express allows you to cook your own beef and have it sizzling hot. The beef is tender and soft. The serving of beef was quite a lot too and the corn provides a healthy diet. The honey sauce enhances the taste of the beef. The rice is of Japanese origins from the small fine grains and they are very fragrant. This meal is filling and delicious overall.
