xiao long bao~ Smile Jun 10, 2013

Categories : Dim Sum

When I head to Din Tai Fung, it is a must to order their xiao long bao. Xiao Long Bao from Din Tai Fung is very famous too! (:

It looks consistent for the amount of flour wrapped around the mixture of meat and xiao long baos are evenly spread to achieve the same cooked taste! Be careful the hot soup will burst out. Remember to paste with the vinegar. Every time I visit is many people queening, overall is worth to try out!

Beef lasagn Smile May 15, 2013

Very impressed with the interior when stepped in, nice barista bar counter, sofa couch for newspaper reading, round and square tables and also comfy cubicle seating. The overhead wall feature is also worth mentioning as a small piece of art, settling a perfect ambiance for fellow diners, with retro songs played in the background. Ordered the beef lasagne and also a long macchiato. Macchiato is an espresso with a tiny bit of milk in it. Love the way the coffee was served with this bronze or tin looking cup handle. The

e was good, it did not taste overly baked and it came with generous beef servings. It just makes one feel its definitely carefully prepared especially looking at the tomato puree that was spread on top. Total bill was $25.50.

Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Coffeeshop | Zi Char

Looking for CRAB to eat?! Try out here! One of the best zhi char near my house area, for 2 person, we usually order 1 small plate of Xin Zhou Bee Hon, but the portion is good enough for 2 person. So is very worth it. then ordered a Salted Egg Crab, only 1 CRAB. They selling the CRAB is big enough too. Every peak hours is many people buying & ordering their food. Very good business! They do phone call order, before you reach the place, u can make a phone call to order your food. They will set a table and waiting for you. So is very easy, once arrive you may sit down to have your food =)

Salad! OK May 15, 2013
Categories : Salads/ Acai Bowl

At this place, you order and pay at the counter, then proceed to pick up your sides and drinks. Pretty much like ikea style just that you pay first. But chicken has to be collected later after the beeper issued comes on vibrating which kind of defeats the purpose. Tried their quarter chicken promotion for $9.90, added corn nibblets and mashed potato as sides. The set also comes with foc soup and drink. I felt the chicken, which was rotisserie style was a little too soft, would prefer it to be cooked a while more. Also the sides were pretty average with nothing much to shout about. Soup was slightly more interesting, I chose the beef soup and could really taste chunks of beef. Although they do have the interesting concept of single plate salad offering and it’s up to you to fill up the plate with as much food as possible. It’s pretty quiet during lunch for this city square outlet.
