I searched from Google the best burger in town and it's one of them in several listing and it didn't let me down!  It serves good gourmet burger and I ordered Juicy Lucy.

The bread is soft and the other ingredients matched well with the bread and the patty.  Just that the patty is not as juicy as I thought as I already ordered medium.  Probably the chef wants to ensure that its cooked.

It's served with salad and it's awesome.  Fries are really great as they are crispy, not too salty, and soft inside and not oily.

We also ordered tuna melt sandwich and it tastes good with the fries underneath.  Just that if they have slightly more tuna it'd be better.

Clam chowder is above average and it's of very big portion.  Just slightly too oily on the surface.  Taste is right and the texture is appropriate and it won't be too thick.  Girls please think twice about having this before your burger.

Service is good and attentive.  Very enjoyable evening. 

 Spanish restaurants usually do not give the impression of fine dining but La Ventana did it.  From the deco, attention to details in its plates and glasses, comprehensiveness of the drink list, and more importantly the taste of the tapas and paella!

The tapas are carefully put on the dishes and not just like something cooked in bulk and put on the small tapas dishes.  The cod croquette made us recall the Porteguese dishes and its taste is just well balancedz. Soft in centre and crispy outside.  Nice.  Anchovies on baguette is superb.  They are not overly salty and with the combination of tomato and crispy crusted baguette it's one of the best tapas I have ever tasted.

Fideuà is a traditional Catalan dish which you might not be able to try in many of Spanish restaurants and they served it here!  It's a noodle paella with cheese and it's very delicious.  Yet the texture is something special as it's not as soft as rice in paella but it's a bit in between chewy and crispy.

Pigeon paella is very good as pigeon are so nicely cooked.  Just cooked and you'd taste the succulent, juicy and tender meat.  Of course the rice are so moist and tasty.

The surprise is the chocolate with the illy coffee at the end gives a great finale of our Sunday lunch.

 Laksa stalls in Singapore  are getting less and less.  This one is very famous and still exist in food centre and attract people who appreciates it's great tastes.

After queuing for 20 mins I got my clay pot of laksa and I always wonder why it's with clay pot.   My interpretation is the chef's insist of his version of best combination of temperature and taste which he would like to bring to his customers.  

The soup is not thick but doesn't mean its taste is thin.  It's so complicated when the clear soup is mixed with its gravy.  The spiciness give very good stimulation of your taste buds but it didn't cover the taste of the gravy and the noodles.  You feel like having the freshness of crab toes in the gravy though I dunno whether they have it there, and the mix of shredded chicken give a different texture to other laksa stalls.

Definitely its among the best laksas in town!

 Located at Funan it doesn't sound like a place for great food but A-Roy has gained its reputation here in Thai food in this mall for electronics.

The most delicious food we had during dinner is the clay pot rice noodles with prawns.  The prawns are just cooked and not chewy.  The taste immersed into the rice noodles and you could hardly resist it when it's with the hot clay pot.

Green curry with pork is the second dish we had and the curry is in good balance of flavour: not excessively sweet, with exciting spicy flavour, and the herbs give its complicated taste.  Super.

Coconut milk chicken soup is very interesting.  Unlike many Thai restaurants it's not very thick but it's addition of herbs and tomatoes give traces of sweetness from the creamy and silky coconut soup.

Fish cakes of course are good because of you could taste the fish esp when it's matched with its home made sauce.

Service is quick and nice.  👍👍👍

 It's a nice surprise!  I almost want to finish this critic with this one simple sentence.

Although I haven't been to Indonesia at least I believe it serves authentic Indonesian cuisine, not to mention that the taste of the food is great!  

We ordered (I tried to memorize the names of the fishes here) Sop Buntat a meat soup to me matched with rice and served with salted egg and prawn chips and I really appreciate the details of it because it's not just a mash of gravy but you could taste the real taste of meat are all dissolved in the soup.  The chips matched with it also gives good taste of it as my wife ordered the chicken soup and they gave a different kind of chips.  The salted egg added to it gives an extra layer of flavour to it.

The next dish we ordered is the chicken soup (Sop Ayam?).  It's cooked with chicken with chicken skin and thus the soup is not those clear type.  The herbs added are very interested as it gives you the taste at your upper palate and you could taste the immense chicken flavour on your tongue.  Fantastic!

The chili served with the 2 dishes are different and they gave you the hotness in different part of your mouth!  Mine is more at the tongue and the one with chicken soup is at your throat!  But be careful they are very hot!

Also the service is very good and they are attentive.
