Although I am not a huge fan of porridge since young, but I felt the dishes that accompanied today's lunch goes well with the porridge that's available free-flow for any diners as most of the dishes were tasty and delicious, albeit the serving portion were slightly little.

We ordered 3 Cup Chicken that cost $16, which is rather tasty and the chicken serving was average. The sauce that accompanied this dish is a little salty.

Sambal cockles tasted very fresh and it only cost $8. I felt it wasn't that spicy to me and the spiciness was just nice. I like their sambal cockles.

We also ordered Mongolian Sauce Prawns that cost $16. We initially thought it would taste special as the lady boss told us that this was one of their specialty dish. But when I tried it, I felt it tasted like prawns cooked in black pepper style.

We also ordered steamed pork with salted egg yolk that cost $6 and I felt this dish goes very well with porridge as the tasty sauce and the minced meat certainly add flavors to the porridge.

Chye Poh Omelette tasted nice although the shape looks 'unconventional' and the size portion was not that huge. It cost us $6 for the Chye Poh Omelette.

The Taiwan Lettuce (Er Cai) was one of their restaurant specialty, according to the lady boss. When I tried it, I felt it tasted like the average Taiwan Lettuce that I ate before but the sauce was nice. At a cost of $8 for such a small portion, I felt it's not valued for money.

Overall, I felt it's worthwhile to eat at this restaurant for your lunch. Even though I don't really like to eat porridge, but for this exceptional case, I won't mind having porridge for lunch, given that most of their dishes are tasty. One drawback about dining at this restaurant is that all of their dishes size portion is small. Hence if you are going in a big group, you may have to order a slightly bigger portion or to order more different dishes.

I ordered the Classic Charlie Burger for my lunch yesterday, which cost me $15. I also ordered the Onion Ring which cost $7. In total my meal cost $22, inclusive of GST.

The Classic Charlie Burger consists of a huge beef patty and it also contains a huge chunk of raw vegetables and tomato. I think this will greatly appeal to veggie lovers but sadly I dislike the raw vegetables. The beef itself was tasty and yummy!!! smile

For the Onion Rings, they were crispy and huge!!! Serving portion was quite a lot too.

For a price of $22 for just a simple burger that's not that huge at all and a basket of onion rings, I felt it's slightly overpriced as I can get a better valued meal elsewhere for the same price.

This restaurant certainly values customers feedback. Their waiter or waitress visited every table and ask the diners about how we found our meal and are there any feedback / suggestions for them to improve on. For the table behind us, I overheard the auntie telling the staff that their fries were not satisfactory but I can't really hear the reason that she gave to the waiter. But he immediately apologized to the auntie and proceed to get his kitchen to cook a new basket of fries for her table. I am certainly impressed by the culture of this restaurant.

I ordered Grilled Chicken Chop with Phai Thai Noodle and cooked with Phai Thai Sauce (C7 + N1 + S2). Up till now, I still found their menu concept very interesting and creative as you can get to choose your type of ingredient, choice of noodle and choice of their special sauce. I felt this whole idea of customizing your meal is quite innovative and unique. You may take a look at the menu which I had attached. My meal only cost $10.80, excluding GST and service charge. After adding in GST & service charge, it should cost me $12.60.

The grilled chicken chop that came with my meal was huge and tasty. However I felt there's still plenty of room for improvement for their Phai Thai. In my opinion, it does not taste like the authentic Phai Thai which I had tasted before from many other different dining places. It tasted more to me like stirred fried guo tiao. I also felt it was not spicy enough. AND the vegetables were raw. Yucks! The raw taste of the vegetables certainly spoil my mood during my meal and I am not a big fan of raw vegetables. If there's one thing that they can improve for this meal, it would be to cook these raw vegetables so that it can better complement the dish.

I ordered their Signature Beef Noodle Soup, after contemplating for quite awhile on what to order as most of the food in their menu seem rather appetizing. The Signature Beef Noodle Soup cost $13.50.

When my meal came, I was pleasantly surprised to see such a unique bowl and layout for a bowl of beef noodle. On top of it, the soup aroma was quite strong and it smelled nice. Needless to say, the soup was simply delicious. To top it off, it also came with quite a lot of beef chunks and beef slices. I would say the beef portion was quite generous.

I am simply impressed by the tasty and yummy soup, tender soft noodle and huge generous portion of beef that tasted delicious too. I would strongly recommend this dish to anyone who loves to eat beef. I would certainly return to eat their Signature Beef Noodle Soup in the future.

On a side note, their waiters were very polite too and the restaurant was quite clean and huge.

I had the Double Hamburger Curry Rice for my dinner yesterday. First impression when it came to my table was that the beef hamburger portion were thick and generously given. However after pouring the curry into the rice, I felt the curry smell and taste simply overwhelmed the taste of the hamburger. When I bit into the hamburger, it simply taste of curry and nothing else. All I can say is that the curry goes well with the beef hamburger.

My meal also came with a mashed potato and a cup of Pepsi. The mashed potato was tasty enough. My total bill was $14.90. I was quite satisfied with my meal but felt it could have been better if the curry taste and smell doesn't overwhelm the hamburger.
