bak chor mee! Smile Mar 30, 2011

Was craving for bak chor mee, always pass by bak chor mee stalls reminds me of bedok 85 bak chor mee (soup version) tongue anyway, this is one bak chor mee that i wish to recommend.Looks very very delicious tongue

The noodles was smooth, easy to chew, and the home-made chilli was good. The ingredients were generous with awesome marinated mushrooms, bak minced meat, pig liver, and some garnish. somehow it lack of meat balls but im alright with it. The soup was good and you would not feel thristy (as alot of outlets added MSG into it).

overall: perfect if there are meatballs lol

great hangout place to have conversation with friends after work or school (long stress day shocked) but may be packed during peak hours though. sofa set are comfortable. The staff are friendly too <-- (almost every outlet).

Food wise, try the cuppuccino cheesecake(very nice coffee aroma) delicious as well and the warm chocolate cake too (abit bitter but awesome). Pricing is reasonable too.

Overall: good hang out place with friends and enjoy the coffee and cakes

yogurt! Smile Mar 29, 2011

I was at amk hub, saw alot of people queueing for this but service was fast so decided to give it a shot, I am a yogurt lover. This stall didnt dissapoint me, I like the texture of their yogurt which is very much like cottage cheese and the overall flavour isnt too creamy.

Their yogurt comes in many flavours but my personal favourite is still the plain one as their yogurt is good even if its on its own.

overall: not bad yogurt tongue

chicken rice Smile Mar 29, 2011

Quite high in demand during lunch (service is fast, and price is acceptable), the uncle is quite funny though (because every person that walked pass the stall, he will ask the person to come and buy his chicken rice) environment is clean, cleaners are hardworking smile

The fragrant of the rice is nice. The rice is slightly soft. The soup you have to scoop yourself, (quantity is up to you, there is cabbage and the soup is not salty though). The chicken is tender and not too dry even for breast meat because of sauce. Chilli sauce was not so just nice for me.

overall: for filling lunch this is the stall tongue

The uncle and auntie both are friendly, i went here for breakfast, no queue though because its holiday now. one bowl noodle cost $2, the auntie will ask whether you want the $2, $2.50 or $3 bowl.. I ordered $2.50, quantity given was generous, very filling breakfast (feel sleepy after that haha)

Noodles was average though including the ingredients on top of noodles (filling), the fishballs were tasty (Bouncy and Yummy). Soup is acceptable. environment was clean (no left over plates), the cleaners here are very hardworking smile

overall: filling breakfast
