Categories : Hawker Centre | Vegetarian

Date : 20121201
Time of visit : 8.50am
What/Where : Qing Zhai Vegetarian @ Bedok
What we had : Beehoon, mock fish/meat and okra(lady finger)
Average cost/pax : $3
Ambience : Clean and airy hawker centre with plenty of seats
Service : Fast service
Portion : Okra and Bee hoon is excellent and cooked consistently, unlike some can be undercooked dry and hard
I personally feel vegetarian food can be eating a piece of art at times, despite being a meat person, the mock meat almost taste as convincing as the real thing if not better. Some day when chicken cow pork and fish are extinct, I will owe my life to these guys
Location : 216 Bedok north st 1 Carpark limited hidden in heartlands; there's wet market and supermarket beside; good for breakfast after shopping
What's good in particular : Pleasing to the palate
What's bad in particular : n/a
