Located at Yishun, within short walking distance from MRT, there was a typical Kway Chap and Duck rice stall. I was having my dinner, looking for simple convenient dishes and I decided to try it out. Pretty clean and neat from appearance, staff was friendly indeed with a polite greeting. As usual, I ordered and waited the food to be served at seating area.
Scrumptious Dish
Delicious Teochew legend of flat rice sheets in a soup made with dark soy sauce, the soup was just nice to handle the overall. It was served along with pork parts which included small intestines, stomach, as well as braised beancurd, preserved salted vegetables, and braised hard-boiled eggs. Texture was tender while the juicy ingredients were not too salty but tasty. Normal set as above costed $3.80, portion was rather enough. I will make my visit again for the rice. Beaver’s Pub & Grill was actually located at Bugis area, specializing in American cuisines. The place was getting crowded as sun set, patrons came here normally ordered beer along with their meal courses. Simple mysterious décor, restaurant was relaxing comfortable. Service was rather prompt, we were given a Menu immediate after we settling down. There was a bowl of complimentary soup served with every main dishes ordered, small portion in diluted style through appropriate saltiness. Talking about chicken, it was well-marinated generally. Arrived in attractively piping hot, flesh was juicy tender. Crisp at skin while soften fluffy in texture, overall was a perfect match. Steamed carrots and long beans as dressing, funky fries were placed aside too. Straightforward dish without overly greasy, the serving was just nice and delicious absolutely. Be careful of the bone, although it was stretchable. Price reasonably at $27.90, I would say Beaver’s Pub was a good place to catch up with friends till late night. Recommended Dish(es):

Occasionally, I like to indulge in some greasy chuck for breakfast. The economy fried Meehoon with add-ons ingredients can be found almost every corner in Singapore. Varieties offered were extensive, all their food were freshly prepared. Action was rather quick, long queue yet I waited less than 5 minutes for my turn. Meehoon was garlicky and cooked in good condition, not only laced plainly with soy sauce but also nicely blanched beansprouts. I opted for Lunchie Meat and Cabbage for my side dishes, tempting appearance with huge portion. Taste wise, Meehoon was aromatic flavoursome and remarkable while generous curry vegetables was drizzled on top. Perfect-matched indeed, Meehoon remained springy and veggies were well-fried. Price was $2.50, quite reasonable and satisfied breakfast in the morning. Recommended Dish(es):

I guessed one of the most gratifying things of being successful foodie was when I discovered something tasty at the same time supported by somebody else, I referred to Nasi Briyani sold here. Occupied rather huge space, the food displayed on the glass cabinet looked freshly appetizing. Lining up was always there, because of the friendly service, reasonable price as well as delicious Indian food. Menu was extensive, Nasi Padang itself was compatible with various dishes. The beauty of Basmati Rice was that, the texture was not as starch-laden as normal rice, chewy and not heavily laid on tummy. Quaint little shinny rice was paired with huge scrumptious drumstick, arrival of sambal chilli and crispy cracker were absolutely fascinating. Aromatic combination was a perfect lovely mix, well blended with tasty spices and subtly sweetened raisins. Chicken was fairly fork-tender without overly sickening, nicely marinated and good nourished. Portion was intensely generous, it did fill me up. The price for the whole set was $4.50, affordable welcoming. You will never regret to come here and try it out, trust me. Recommended Dish(es):

Followed my friends to Perfecto Kitchen, I heard of its name countless time and finally I was here. Simply modern restaurant stood in the town, atmosphere was soothing comfort. Menu was thoughtfully included brief introduction, ease for us to make decision. Business was rather good, shop was filled to the brim. This creamy pasta was one of my desired dishes, I love White Sauce compare to Tomato Sauce seriously. Overall was sinfully coated by rich-flavoured gravy, noodles remained springy. It tasted wonderful, especially with extra Cheese Topping. As always, pasta lightened up my expectation and satisfied me with generous portion. Price was $15.90, reasonable for me. Anyway, it was a place I would recommend for dining out, fast and efficient service with food quality was never a letdown. Recommended Dish(es):
