We went to the outlet at Junction 10 and when we saw that The Star Vista has one outlet there, lunch menu has been decided. As the mall is pretty accessible & there is church service on Sundays, it tends to get quite crowded. Do take note that customers are only allowed to get a table when your entire party had arrived.
I had the Standard Chartered Promotion which entitles me to a pasta, salad, soup & soft drink/orange juice/apple juice for $18.80nett.
For pasta, I ordered the Hokkaido Cheese Cream Soup Spaghetti with Scallop, Corn & Potato.
Pasta: Spaghetti was springy. It wasn't too soft or too hard.
Soup: They add a slice of butter into the soup which gives it a tinge of buttery taste; enhancing the soup. Butter is 'removable'. Also, it is not soupy in the sense that half the bowl is just soup. It's more like gravy & just probably about 5 spoonful left after all the pasta and ingredients are eaten.
Advice from my friend who prefers tomato base: It is a creamy soup base so if you don't like cream, you might need to pre-empt yourself.
Ingredients: There were generous portion of salmon, bacon and crabmeat, potato, carrots, asparagus, fresh scallop, corn and a dash of cheese.
HINT: Tilt the bowl so the salad at the bottom won't be sitting in the saltiness.
Soup: Quite a small cup. After the saltiness of the salad, drink the soup to wash it away. Soup has a generous bits of spring onions floating at the top and small cubes of tofu sitting at the bottom.
It was a extremely satisfying dinner and quoting Arnold Schwarzenegger.. I"LL BE BACK!!
