If you don't want to use butter in this recipe, you can always replace it with olive oil. Serve with fruits of your choice.
Ingredient and Portion
200gm or 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar (30g)
1 1/4 cups milk (300ml)
1 egg
3 tablespoons butter, melted
Method
1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.               
2. Pour 1/2 of the batter into the HC pan under low heat for 2-3mins each side. Serve with butter and maple syrup. You can add in some bananas or other fruits, too.
