1 cup glutinous rice flour 3/4 cup of water 1 tsp shallot oil 1tsp sugar (optional) Pinch of salt (optional) Mix well (watery paste) Note: For a more chewy muah chee, use 2-3 tsp shallot oil
1. Grease pan with shallot oil (adds fragrance). 2. Pour in paste and cook on very low heat for about 3 minutes 3. Make sure that it has 'set' and roll together to form a lump (using a fork, should be able to flick up the side and roll together easily) 4. Toss around for a while to ensure is totally cooked. 5. Remove and put onto peanut coating, cut to bite size.
